You are clearly misleading yourself. To apply for a post in the federal service today you must submit your lga of origin which has specific quota, you can not use the quota of another lga even if you reside there. Nigeria does not recognise your residency in the sharing of the national cake.

If you have stayed over 10 years in an area, the LGA chairman will sign that LGA of origin for you, a lot of people use it to get jobs, appointments and bursary so I don't understand what you are saying
