oh wow!!! If u feeling dizzy, it means ur iron level is low... Start taking iron tablet n increase ur veggies. Get well soon.

So, I’m down with headache, cold, itching throat and catarrh. I went to the pharmacy yesterday and the pharmacist said I could take loratidine but I’m not so sure if it’s safe so I didn’t get it.

Now, I’m wishing I had bought it because this hot water/balm therapy I’m doing is not fast enough for me. I feel hot and cold at the same time.

Please who has felt this way before and what did you take. My next ANC is not until 16th of this month.

Loratidine is safe in pregnancy. Why not make tea with ginger, cloves and honey? Very effective and safe. I also add a bit of garlic and black pepper to mine. Then I take it all day long instead of ordinary water. Two to three days and it's gone.

For delivery, you can try customs hospital. The matrons there are very experienced.

Good afternoon Mamas. I recently joined this forum and have been following this thread and I must say, the discussions and contributions have been very helpful to me.
Thank you all for the good work supporting one another.
I found out I was pregnant just few weeks ago and everything has been going fine, went for scan at 8 weeks and everything was okay.
Earlier today I experienced vaginal bleeding (though painless and lasted less than a minute). Also, (sorry to add this) I had an intimate moment with my husband earlier this morning (which is not the first time since the beginning of the pregnancy) and I don't know no if that had a role to play with the bleeding or not, I'm about 10 weeks pregnant.
I've been on duphaston for over 3 weeks now. I have also booked an appointment with a gynaecologist but any suggestions or advice will be very appreciated.
Has anyone gone through this before?
Should I be worried or not?

u should wait n see ur gynecologist... He/she will examine u n tell u wat may b d cause of d bleeding... May i ask y u r on duphaston when this is apparent ur first pregnancy?

Good morning all, my baby seems to be struggling with poo. He is gassy, strains a lot, raises his leg up towards his belly and his face turns red. This most times disturbs his sleep. Also, his stomach makes sound at times. Don't know if it is colic that is disturbing him.

Someone advised that we get nospamin while another recommended another drop, is this safe for a 6 weeks old baby? Cus I saw a few people on Facebook and twitter saying that both of them can have harmful effects on a baby

ur baby is obviously struggling with colic which is totally normal 4 newborns... U cn only use one of the two medicine above n not together... Nospamin is good... These medicine work to help babies relieve demselve of gas building up in their stomach.... They will be completely be ok by 3 or 4months old when their stomach is fully developed.

Thank you so much for your response ma. As for the duphaston, the gynaecologist recommended it and asked me to continue taking it until week 13, though I didn't ask him the reason why he prescribed it.
