I honestly cannot imagine what this lady is going through at the moment. The said boyfriend is a coward, a foolish coward. People that suddenly find strength before defenseless and vulnerable victims. My God!!! Now the father is calling God up and down; I won’t be surprised if the girl forgives this abuser eventually because “Christians should not take judgements into their hands.” Now that this is out on the public domain, she should make a formal complaint and ensure the guy is arrested and prosecuted. I’d advise her not to listen to anyone advising her to let go….she shouldn’t allow anyone to blackmail her with religion (we Africans are good at this). Brother should be thrown to the deepest available jail and put away for life. He’s a threat to every lady in the world, has no business being anywhere close to a woman….including the sisters of those that are begging her to forgive and forget. Society should support this lady in this very difficult period. She could turn to self hurt. Hopefully, she’ll be able to take down the video ASAP. Will never understand why people engage in domestic violence…and sexual violence. Why can’t we live a peaceful life  ? See what we are doing to each other….if this were done by a foreigner, we go dey scream racism up and down.I’m sooooo pained at the moment…..if I knew this lady, I’d make it my personal mission to see that this case is prosecuted to the last letter!!! |
