It depends on how you see Religion.
I see it as a way of life. It's cultural to me.
It's a way a set of people have chosen to reverence a supreme being.
GOD never creates religion, rather humans do so especially when they perceive something extraordinary or extraterrestrial is responsible for something beyond their imagination.
Religion can never be higher than the God it was created to atone, hence the reason God is never a Christian, neither a Muslim or partisan.
A new Religion can be started by you and I today. Hope you know that?
We can adopt a new style of worshipping God and pass it down our kids and such becomes endorsed across generations..
