Last year from March through April, and for considerable parts of December; and around February this year, there was a heated debate about gang culture and violence in certain parts of the country. Port Harcourt particularly came under fire.

Admittedly, I played a part in it, going on and on about the vices. But Port Harcourt residents and its people would have none of my disparaging comments.
They felt loyal and still feel fiercely loyal to Port Harcourt and Rivers State. And rightly so.
Some admitted its shortcomings but reaffirmed their unwavering love for Pitakwa, warts, flaws, and imperfections and more. I admired it in retrospect.

But today Disstrôy is a "hypocrite" for reaffirming he doesn't háte his Nigerian identity and refusing to debase it - Nigeria which Port Harcourt and Rivers are a part of.

I was shocked when I saw 700k because I've seen people get it for 20-40k too. It really depends on who wants it, what it's wanted for etc. I'm sure some people will get it for free sef.

Nobody will give u police report for free in Nigeria ; quote me anywhere . I’ve reported a burglary incident before few years ago when I lost a laptop and an iPhone .

The document issued by the police that is used to process traveling is a Police Clearance Certificate not a Police Report.

Police Report and Police Clearance Certificate are two different documents.

PCC can be obtained for 30 - 70k depending on the police command/station and state you process it from. It can also be processed online

Police Report is issued to a person or organization that is a victim of a crime. The price of the PR is often expensive and depends on the value of theft and the financial status of the person requesting for it.

The CSO told me the initial statement he submitted , they refused to issue a police report based on it because they insisted he must state the value of the items . When he eventually stated the value , then the haggling began before they arrived at that 700k from the initial 10% they demanded .

Nigeria police mad gan , the superiors are more corrupt than the junior officers . That’s why a normal police stop and search team prefer u stripe them on the road before they carry u go station where senior officers will share in the largesse

The optimism and patriotism is nice and truth is if Nigeria is to ever become anything other than the mess it is, it'd need more patriots, and I don't mean those that love the country because they benefit from it's dysfunction or because their tribesman is in power.
