The ASP should shut up and focus on reforming the NPF. Instead of recommending a.book on Police Reform for Kemi to read ... he should've read it and apply it to reform the NPF .At least the UK Police rose from the ashes ...they are much better now ...but not perfect. What is our history going back to the 60's? The NPF is heading to the ashes ... getting from bad to worse ...heading to the ashes.

Shot up . As I am typing this now a police officer is collecting #200 from my driver. This is a daily occurrence. She's not a bad person because she talked about the daily occurrence of evil in Nigeria. If evil and corruption has become a norm I wonder what you will do when you get to outside Nigeria when you can't bribe your way in .

My neighbour was robbed of his 4 months old car. He went ahead to report the matter to police and guess what they told him? The said he has to file the case with 25k and if he doesn't do that , and the car is used for robbery, he will be arrested and prosecuted. The animals are not interested in helping him to recover his car but how to extort him

Why not learn from their mistakes and apply the measures they used to address the problem and stop making excuses for how bad their police were in the 80's.

The truth is what it is, we are corrupt as Nigerians. The earlier we accept this reality and chart a path that leads to solution, the better for us. Yes we love our country, but the truth need to be told
