One free of oppressive stunts. If I hired a lawyer to represent me, I certainly won't expect unreasonable abduction to be thrown into the mix.

There is a Federal High Court in Lagos if the IG needed to sue; it was ultimately pointless abducting him down to Ekiti to do the same. Also, bail application in Magistrate Courts is by word of mouth, we saw that process burnt into ashes just because it is Dele Farotimi Vs Afe Babalola.

That is my idea of what is not fair chance.

Police do not abduct, they arrest.
It is even more inappropriate to claim a person who refused three court
summons was abducted by the constitutionally created police force.

I notice many of you guys love to throw words around like abduct, kidnap
or even invade when law enforcement agencies are doing their legally assigned job.
No, while such emotive deception might convince largely illiterate, it doesn't work on well-informed people.

You have zero idea of how the legal system works.
IG did not sue because the IG is not even a party in the book.
The police charged Dele for a crime in a court with jurisdiction
same as they do a thief or a kidnapper.

The suspect don't get to choose their preferred court as long as their is jurisdiction.
