But i was born, bred and schooled and spent 95% of my life in Ibadan. So, I have this natural connection with the city.

He sold the amusement park meant for the kids and he turns it residential.

He could have worked with these spare part seller to relocate them to somewhere reasonable.

He has sold all the lands in Ibadan.

I pity those that buy such lands because incoming administration could revoke it.

From the video, some didn't even know the place was going to be demolished, and they still had their goods in their shops. That place is dirty alright, but I hope provision is made for them after demolishing the place. Or maybe he can rebuild the place to a more modern facility.

None of them will condemned Seyi cos hie is of the party they have loved ever since, until last year. Let it be it was Ondo, Lagos or Ekiti and Ogun governor, you will here condemnation all over nairaland.

I left the city for Abuja 3years ago after spending 11years and I miss my Ibadan city badly

Nothing can change Ibadan except the people decide to demolish all the old houses and replace them with modern ones.

Do you know that students in neighboring schools damage school properties to sell them as scraps at Agodi Spareparts? They will remove the iron parts of tables and burglary frames. Some of these folks buy it from them, supporting criminality.

I know this because IDAGBA Empowerment Foundation completed a project at Ikolaba Grammar School, a school quite close to this spare part, and I heard a lot of tales. By the way, I went to the school from JSS 1 - 3.

While visiting the spare parts, I saw so many electricity thefts. There are no prepaid meters, and these guys are using mighty machines. I was forced to ask someone if they paid for electricity. He responds that they collate money and give it to some people. As an Engineer, my heart dropped because only God knows how much they use daily from the main source without paying for it and how it affects others. They make millions in hours with no taxes or land charges. They only pay their fellow agberos.

Someone already mentioned the state of the area during rainy season. It is high time we have regularized spare parts where they can hold people accountable for criminality and provide sanity.
