Ask Wole Soyinka why he brought that nonsense into Nigeria . The first and only Nobel laureate that not only did he contribute nothing to his national development but actually set up a cult that had led to endless blood letting in Nigerian youths that have thrown thousands of families in painful sorrows for more than 30 decades now. He never stands on the side of ordinary Nigerians or the youths but actually against them due to his extreme tribalistic nature. He led massive protests against , Jonathan and called his wife shepopotamus for trying to remove subsidy and sell fuel for 80 in 2011, attacked Peter Obi severally for contesting elections and going to court but now miraculously silent. Nobel prize winners like Desmond Tutu helped end apartheid in South Africa . Elie Wiesel used the power of his writing to make the world understand what holocaust means etc but what is the contribution of Wole Soyinka to Nigerian development? ..smh . Chinua Achebe spoke against evils in government against the masses from Gowon to Shagari , IBB , Abacha etc and even rejecting a national award from Obasanjo because he wasn’t obeying court orders..smh |

Cultism offers job opportunity, power, family and dignity to people who were born in bad situations and don't have much options in life. It's the same reason why in the USA blacks in ghetto join the Crips or Bloods, poor Italians join the Cosa Nostra and poor Latinos join Ms-13. |
