Jackson for instance was very wasteful today, but he kept Brentford defenders at bay and his link up play was fantastic. Naturally, the coach would have thought of replacing him early on. Secondly, Enzo Fernandez should have been replaced as well. But again, who will come on and bring the same quality? I think he should have brought on Lavia (I don't know if he was fit though) to shore up that midfield because it was obvious that he wanted to hold on to that lead. Maresca's hesitation would have costed us this match.

In summary, Chelsea played well and were quite lucky that Brentford didn't equalize.

The game in which Jao Felix and Palmer started together was Chelsea's most dominant game this season.

It is the coach that is still very confused about his best players.

Felix is a highly skillful and intelligent player. It was when the coach wanted to begin integrating him into the team that Enzo woke up and started scoring. So the coach had to abandon that palmer / Felix synergy that he wanted to create.

And it became difficult to drop Enzo Fernandez.

A game that contains Enzo Fernandez, Jao Felix and Palmer will be too much in fluidity and creativity.
