Anything that will bring relief to the people is welcome, other than that they should stop all this unnecessary hopes they keep given daily and end up dashing it. We’ve been through a lot already. |

Kabal this, kabal that .. mtcheew. Make una dey play Culled from the news post(above) Rafsanjani said the citizens should be relieved with the local production of fuel and operation of the refineries. He said, “The government decided to withdraw fuel subsidy without taking into consideration that if you have a public-owned refinery, the citizens should be able to have some relief. You cannot have public-owned processed petroleum products and be selling them in the same commercial way as you are importing them into the country or it is Dangote selling them. As reiterated by me in the past, even long before kyari spoke, the refinery is a mere blending facility. That's why the pump price of the one coming from the phc refinery is as high as that of the imported petrol. They're still importing but for blending in the local refinery , just like they do in the Malta blending facility owned by Mr XYZ. Those I pity the most are the illiterates on nairaland who are fond of jumping at the fake news, as reeled out from the apc's camp at the slightest opportunity. A farmer can't be growing yam in large qty and his children would be hungry. There's no justification for selling at a high price if they were refining locally without importing any product. Just take the crude to the refinery and refine, period! Transaction is done locally either in USD or NGN it doesn't matter. No shipping and and other costs involved. NNPC succeeded in dictating the selling price of petrol to dangote for a reason. They knew the port harcourt refinery would be turned a blending facility and there's no way the nnpc would be selling higher than dangote. People would react. Nigerian government is a scamner while their followers are the victims without noticing. . |

| Re: Naira-For-Crude: IPMAN Eyes Petrol Price Reduction by MASTAkiLLAh(m): 2:33pm On Dec 15, 2024 |
Nigeria can easily sell petrol at 300-600 naira without flinching but the bastárds at the petroleum ministry and criminals known as the cabal will never allow that to happen because of greed, paid noise makers and daftness of the average, gullible Nigerian. You people will continue to suffer unnecessarily until you collectively decide to wake up. Emphasis on collectively ![]() |

PBAT PETROL SUBSIDY REMOVAL...A PUNISHMENT TO NIGERIANS? Obasanjo spent $15billion on subsidy in 8yrs Yar Adua spent $6billion in 3yrs Jonathan Spent $36billion in 6 yrs Buhari spent $50billion in 8yrs Between May 2000 - May 2023 Nigeria spent about $106billion on cheap fuel This money could have given nigerians over 80,000Mw of Electricity, Fix all NGR refineries, Fix all the major roads in NGR, Fix Ajaokuta steel & other but it was wasted in Subsidizing petrol not for only nigerians between 2000 - 2023 NGR Debt equally grew from $28billion to $108billion despite Paris club debt forgiveness of about $18billion. in 2023 NGR was servicing it's debt with over $18billion annually..seeking to borrow over $25billion on a revenue of less than $20billion. it took a cumulative number of 3billion Nigerians to consume petrol Subsidy of $106billion in 23yrs If PBAT continued same pattern it would just take 10yrs(2023 - 2033) to have another 3billion consume $106billion or more of petrol Subsidy raising NGR debt to over $212billion, increase debt servicing to over S40billion with revenue remaining around $28billion(revenue only grew in value by about 70% between Obasanjo and Buhari) Note our revenue will only be enough for 70% of debt servicing nobody will be receiving salaries again, so teachers , policemen, soldiers, Doctors and others will all go home no money to build any roads, hospitals and others the country will become another banana republic of lawlessness and Chaos if you think you are in pain today what would have come without PBAT reforms especially removal of subsidy would have been amaggedon |

The Truth is that NIGERIANS are tired of all these rasmoborge dealings between - Dangote, NNPC ( Govt Officials) and Others. Nigeria will only come to reasons with all this clever manners of doing things,if and when the Fuels ⛽ Price is N600.per litre, for anything else is just manipulation. With 600,per litre,Dangote and NNPC can still comfortably make their Trillions on 230Million Nigerians! That is just the Truth- afterall,God gave us the Crude-Oil. |

Fire on, we can't be paying for local crude in dollars, that is ridiculous and unsustainable. This had been mentioned years ago, we are now seeing the wisdom. Other oil producing countries are trying to use other payment means outside the dollar, China has been doing this with India, Gaddafi died because he proposed this in Libya. Now other countries are seeing the light. |
