The Bible has two legs it stands upon Old (Covenant) Testament and New (Covenant) Testament. All these are spiritual not scientific. Maybe because you are a Lab scientist, you think you can analyze the Bible in a test tube.

This results in an area in the Arctic and Antarctic poles, called the arctic circle and antarctic circle respectively, having a 6 months straight daylight and 6 months straight night-time. So do the Muslims have to fast 6 months straight?

Or what should the astronauts do in space, flying through the emptiness of space where sunlight is not blocked by any planet?

This clearly shows that the authors of the Quran had absolutely no idea of arctic circle or the physics of space which planets are resting to.

But modern Muslims who are clearly smarter than Allah think they can use another method to determine when to start and end daily fasting with a method different from that in the Quran!

They said they will fast like the people closer to them, why did you learn such from? Hadith or Quran? Or the opinion of your dubious scholars?

That the bible isn't a scientific text doesn't mean some writers of the scripts, didn't embrace the philosophy of science through methods of data collection; like a simple observation technique.

If someone observes that the sun moves (from east to west) across the firmament, while the earth remains stationary, why wouldn't it count for scientific finding even if it is contained in the scriptures?

I don't think your theory is totally true. Some of their introductory training manuals where the effect of the earth curvatures are negligible uses the flat earth model.

The more comprehensive trainings uses the speherical shaped earth models.
