Josh kroenke will be active from now till after winter transfer holding meeting with arteta and his staff
The key question to ask arteta is what are his plans this season?
Are we winning any trophy?
The way I am looking at it apari and his boys will struggle throughout the season
If we can take advantage of this and go all out to get a killer CF and a winger
I am sure our scouts have list already

TH14 made an analysis about Martinelli, which to me was spot on. I wish Arteta can look into it and help him improve. Like seriously, the guy can’t beat his man for once, even a 39 year old Young and that’s worrying.

We really need to get that Left hand side of the team working because as it is now, we are so predictable. Once things are not going well for us, our game plan involves, pass pass to Saka who most often times than not, he is marked by 2-3 people.

It’s the same observation I saw someone mentioned on Twitter too.

If Martinelli can become dangerous again, it will relieve the pressure on Saka and make us unpredictable.

I pray the team shows up today because we have been so inconsistent for the past 10 games.

In addition, we need a creative LCM. I’m sure Martinelli and Trossard would do anything to have a player like Odegaard or someone close to Odegaard behind them. If they have a creative LCM they could combine with like Odegaard and Saka does, it would at least take some pressure off them.

This was what we were expecting in the summer before he pack defenders full without getting attack-minded players

Martinelli's biggest strength is his pace. He thrives more when running behind and receiving the ball. He has never been a good dribbler. The reason why it seems he regressed after Xhaka left is due to the passing abilities of Xhaka. Xhaka is a great passer which is why every players (Auba, Saka, Tierney and Martinelli) playing ahead of him were always having great games.

My own solution is to shift Odegaard a bit centrally or move Odegaard to LCM and get a right footed RCM (I once tipped ESR). Let him be running behind instead of receiving the ball while stationary.

I thought Arteta should have continued with Ebening’s plan of exploring opportunities to transition Martinelli to the CF role as an option.

His legacy.

When i talked about 4 replacement of like for like, many thought i was just exaggerating.

The Partey one is the most insulting. This was a guy that strength of win % was connected to him in his real position, naim e turn RB. Mtchew. Before the game i said I'm not watching, only for my Chelsea mates to make me know they don't concede.

4 easy fixtures left and vibes of not getting 100% Win is high.
