To think that 2024 budget was based on an exchange rate benchmark of 800 per dollar, and yet we are currently doing about1700 per dollar. How are we sure we would not end up exchanging 2500-3000 for dollar by this time next year?

I have said my own o. For anyone that needs IELTS assistance, kindly chat with us via the number on our signature. This is not cheap o. Serious candidates only please !

How will inflation rate decline, when the factors of production are still at high price?

Will you sell petrol at 300 naira per liter?
Or it will happen with babablu magic?
clearly you dont know the difference between inflation and prices. If price of an item goes from 100 to 135 in a year then inflation for that year is 35% but if the price goes from N135 to N155 the next year, then inflation for that year is 15%. If the price stays at N135 the next year, then inflation is 0%. In all scenarios the price of the commodity did not go down even in the scenario of 0% inflation.

Inflation is rate of change in price not the actual price.

You may be one of the poor Nigerians. We aren’t looking for your type please. We are looking for those in dire need of relocating for greener pastures in English Speaking countries abroad but don’t have the right link/connection to do so. You may decide personally to wallow in your penury when a dollar is averaging 2000 naira while singing the local hungry man song “ E go better “.

Your type never learn. The fact that no one has come to counter our claims should provide an insight into how sure this stuff is. We have been here for over 8 years and counting. So sir, instead of blabbing about milking poor “desperate” Nigerians, I would advise that you try to make yourself better for your family as the clock is ticking. Time and Tide they say waits for no man. I hope you don’t regret this when $1 becomes #2,500 and then it is considered too late for you. Allow others who are ready to take that “bold step”. This would be my only and final response to you. Do have a lovely day sir !

Peace !!!!

Stabilise the dollar to 1500, was that where he met it? Just imagine?
Why must our own always have k-leg?
No importation of fuel, no more subsidy, increased production of crude to over 2m barrels per day, so how come the naira has not appreciated to better than how he met it?

This is someone who promised to reduced fx rate to N200:$1.

This is someone who condemned fx rate at N217:$1 as been too high and a result of incompetence on the part of the then government.

Today, he is proudly presenting a budget using N1500:$1 and his cursed supporters are hailing him.

Those who support the hypocrisy and evil of bat and the apc are cursed and they will suffer damnation in thier life time.

The joy they get from mocking the masses who express thier pain on the hardship brought on by bat and the apc will turn to sorrow upon them.

The excitement they get from calling those who speak up against the poor leadership of bat and apc, wailers, they will experience wailing a thousand fold under this same bat.

Flashback: How Bola Tinubu spoke highly of Buhari in 2015, named PDP ‘Poverty Development Party

National leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu had during the presidential campaign in 2015, referred to President Muhammadu Buhari as the only solution for the security and economic challenges facing Nigeria.

During a mega presidential rally, the former governor of Lagos State recalled how some powerful nations in the world returned to army generals when they were challenged, saying “Major General Buhari would revive Nigeria’s economy”.

He named the current opposition People’s Democratic Party, PDP as the “Poverty Development Party saying they had nothing to offer.

His words at the time were; “Every nation has a period of their own challenges, when America was challenged, they turned to one great man, their ex-military general, General Eisenhower. When the French were challenged, they turned to their general, Charles de Gaulle.

“When Britain was challenged, they turned to their general. Today, Nigeria is economically and physically challenged so we turn to General Muhammadu Buhari. He is the right man for the job. If you talk about military experience, he has it abundantly, he has courage, simplicity, he has it abundantly.

“If you talk about great determination, a combination of vision and ability to perform, honesty and integrity, he has it abundantly.

“I laugh when the incapable government, ‘Poverty Development Party’ PDP were talking. They have nothing again to say, they now want to question the qualifications of General Buhari and look for his certificate”.

Following the manifestos in 2015 which projected the APC presidential candidate as a ‘saviour’, Buhari defeated the then incumbent president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan with Nigerians expecting a total change in security and economy.

What will they defend the Naira with, since productivity is reducing and population is increasing?
The extreme poverty, unemployment, inflation etc under Buhari will be a child’s play in this ebilokan turn.

LieDetector:
President Muhammadu Buhari has urged Nigerians to ensure continuity of his regime by voting for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 presidential election.

“The forthcoming general elections will provide us with the opportunity to convince the electorate of the need for continuity to enable our party to consolidate on our achievements in the last 7 years,” Mr Buhari said.

The president, according to a statement by his spokesperson Femi Adesina on Friday, disclosed this while receiving a delegation from Nasarawa State.
“The Government and people of Nasarawa State, as usual, have a great role to play in returning our party to governance in the 2023 elections, in order to create a path for greater socio-economic growth and development.

“This is not only important for Nigeria alone but also for the West African Sub-Region,” the president was further quoted as saying.

I had to literally clear my eyes and head to re-read this. Does it make any sense?
So, we've given in to the Dollar at way above the 1,000 naira government campaigned and fanned itself on achieving.
This is a sly way of telling Nigerians to expect the Dollar at over 2000 naira soon.

If this goal and aim of the PBAT led Administration is N1,500 to $1 in FY 2025 is true, then it's indeed a big shame on Pres. Tinubu.

1, If Dangote Petrochemical Complex alone sustains the tempo of exports to it's new demand pull markets in Africa & Europe with a specialized holdings account in the CBN alone, Dollar will hit below N500 by Q3 2025.

2, Again the Minister of Industry, trade and investments Jumoke Odewole (Ph.D) as an expert driver of international trade and investments can pull this export drive string in less than 12 months. Her capacity in the past has been excellent.

3, The improvement in the foreign reserve alone serves as a major defense against our failing and disgraceful currency FX rate. The CBN should prepare to use part of the improved foriegn reserve to defend the disgraceful state of the Naira.

PBAT is not sounding optimistic to the international community and diasporan investors.
