If not for having a terribly small mind you ought to have realized that Gowon achieved a milestone of 90 years and while you may see him as an enemy of your people, in the larger context of Nigerian history, he is the president who kept this country together.

Soyinka equally achieved a major milestone in age and was celebrated all over the country. In any case, how exactly can Soyinka be said to have offended Igbos in particular by his conflict with Obidients? Are you admitting something we don't know about the nature and thrust of the Obidient movement?
