All these hunger this, hunger that comments are very irritating! Stampedes are caused by lack or loss of crowd control. The one that happened at Travis Scott's concert in the US was also caused by hunger abi? How about the one at Asake's UK concert? If organisers of an event do not plan very well and invite more people than a venue can contain, stampede will likely happen if care is not taken. The other day, I wrote of how I took 10 packs of foodstuff I met being assembled. I decided to take some to share at my office area. I gave some to my aboki and told him to give the rest to those that really needed it. He gave a pepper seller, the POS lady next to her told her not to take it, that it was magomago if not why was it not shared to everyone at the place. As I heard that one, henceforth I am no longer doing such charity again, because if for any reason something happens they will say it is the foodstuff I gave. This has nothing to do with management, these people out of good heart wanted go out food and provisions to the people, but the people were too hungry to even be orderly. A crowd of 5000 people who are controlled by hunger they would bring down the gate and would defy every form of order. Just another unfortunate soul who wanted to help people but their kindness has been used against them. Those stupid illiterates who couldn’t maintain decorum would be the first to call the organizers ritualists, na why rich man no dey ever help una. There was definitely security operatives there, you can’t call an olori and not have the police at the event. It’s not possible, Anybody blaming this on the management is just naive, would you expect them to spend more on organizing the event, paying extra for management or rather giving the money to the poor. Even travis scott that had all the biggest managements in the world still had this issue. 7000 people/soldiers can overthrow a state government talkless of an ordinary event. The government should be concerned about how poor the state is, that’s the reality, If people were willing to sacrifice their life and time because of cups of rice.
