The idea is to get the state governors work even harder.. now all they do is sit back, wait for FAAC and wait for the President to use them to get votes for Presidential election.

Ogun state that you people claim has more industries than the whole south east region is below the table while anambra comfortably sits at the top ladder over all the Yoruba states despite the sit at home

I don't believe this shift list. Aside from kano I don't believe other figures from the Northern stares were nothing is happening.

Osisiomo alone in Aba , Abia state where Ariaria market and other industries are
generates more than 3 billion monthly in VAT.

Are you new to Nigeria or what ?, that is the reality of Nigeria current tax system , VAT are paid to where the company are registered not where the product is consumed, the reason for agitation for tax reform. Lagos take it all, oil headquarters, Mobile network headquarters, Bank headquarters, only access to seaport and international airport and lot more.

You’re misinformed. VAT has always been a consumption tax and charged where consumption takes place. The distribution of the VAT revenue when remitted to FAAC is a different issue entirely; which is where the controversy is. Many comments I'm reading here shows people are still ignorant about the Nigerian Tax system….inclusive of those thinking industrial presence alone translates into VAT generation. It’s not a production tax hence the state that consumes more VATable goods generate more. Simple as that.
