How many times will they tell you that VAT system is flawed in Nigeria? It doesn't record VAT on point of sale, which is what is obtainable in a working system.

Example: Lagos is 'collecting' all the VAT from MTN because the headquarters of MTN is Lagos.
Stop crying .Support the tax bill Reform so the loophole can be corrected...

The tax reform is to do the corrections...so that collection will be at the point of consumption....

Tax reforms is making provision for source where the VAT is consumed and not the headquarters syndrome.

The mode of collection needs to be improved unless all these parasitic states will become dormant financially

Most companies produces in Lagos and shift to other states to consume while collecting the tax in Lagos..
There will be no Lagos without other consuming states..

Benue State has been the biggest disappointment since creation of Nigeria.

Very primitive and backward leaders and followers especially the Tiv who have ruled that state from creation.

Borno, a war-torn state contributes more than all four SE states of Abia, Enugu, Ebonyi & Imo, yet some lunatics will not let anybody rest in the country, with incessant noice of their exaggerated importance!
Anambra state alone contributes far more than Ogun,Ekiti,Osun and Ondo states combined, but your problem is SE....we know you

Na Lie ooo!. Lagos is robbing every other state using the HQ rule!
I only see 3 viable state in the country, whilst others are sleeping waiting for federal allocation and the little which could have helped their state they are embezzling it heavily.

Look at benue state...

Only me can contribute that amount sef.

Some of these states cannot sustain themselves.

And they are still clamoring for more states that can only leeach on others to survive.

Something is also fishy about kano contributing on 9 billion Inspite of its huge size when a state like oyo is doing 32 billion and smaller less industrial states are doing more numbers comparatively!
I had to go look at benue to be sure of what i skipped but all in all to be sincere you're not serious you can't even contribute 10% of what benue did but their contribution is extremely low though even kano self low compared to what I have been thinking about them even if other states agree you see those northern states, they no go gree.

Lagos has the largest amount of consumers in Nigeria and other states in southern Nigeria also have a large consumption rate.. Once the tax bill is passed Lagos will still receive the most VAT...

According to the fraudulent list, VAT is shared by population not by consumption.. Once its by consumption then the top 3 states would Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Rivers, Abuja, Delta, Anambra e.t.c..
