Tinubu is the cause of this!!! He said he would remove subsidy without caring about it's consequences.
Now hunger and the desperation to survive are the consequences.
Afterall the foolish Senate president, Akpabio told Nigerians that anywhere they see free food, they should rush and eat.

Compensate the family how? Are the families of the kids exempted from blame? Were they charged or billed to attend the event? It was a free for all event. What about the government that is meant to monitor situations like that?

There ought to have been early warning alert from relevant government agencies. But this is a country where nothing works.

The economy hardship is majorly the cause. The State governors are mostly the culprits. They are not doing anything to alleviate the challenges being faced by their people preferring to shift the blame to the federal government only.

Stop giding behind a finger. We all know who the cause of our economic calamity is. Even state governments are suffering, they are also affected by inflation. Their so called increased allocation is not enough to uy what they used to buy with their old allocation. Kiss the truth!

People are hungry.

My problem with Nigerians is they will forget this event too very soon and no lessons will be learnt.

Another person will still organize event without adequate safety and security planning and crowd will still fall in and make similar mistakes.

Government need to regulate virtually everything in Nigeria before we can really have a semblance of civilization.

Since the organizer noticed the mammoth crowd, the best thing is to address the people to go back home that the event have been shifted to the other day due to some reasons

Let the gate be wide opened on the following day from 5am and organize the place a day before the d day

It's not a must to cater for 5,000 kids, if 1k is what can be properly arranged once the 1k children entered the venue, lock the gate and send others back to their house

100people cannot reach the venue the same minute

They all came too early to the venue, probably before the organizers themselves. They didn't see this coming, but they should have known that people are hungry these days of PORN Tinubu presidency. RIP to the dead.

Why did people die in this one ?

You think it is as easy as that? Gate that crowd will break open. Who is security men? Even if you have police around and they decide to wip or fire tear gas worse still shoot in the air to scare and disperse the crowd, it will only make it worse, more stampande and death.

The blood of those kids on your hands for supporting and bringing in an evil man who brought untold pain and hardship.

Naija is not the place to do any charity specially these days things are though. Poverty, hardship has reset people's reasoning negatively. Everyone is suspicious. 2 years ago one of my drivers went home and we did not hear for him for days. Only to hear he was very sick, that the day he got home a neighbour he claimed was envious of him offered him banana which he ate and immediately fell sick. Inshort all the adugbo, the family were already challenging the neighbour that if the driver dies that will be his end.
I was able to speak with my driver after 5 days, hearing his voice I knew instantly he had suffered a stroke. That was how I arranged him to be evacuated and treated. Gladly due to his age he made 98% recovery and very useful to me till today.
Point of the story, that neighbour offered him banana he was eating as a good person, even to make peace from tension they had previously. That banana would have been is undoing.
Meanwhile the fellow driver that worked with the stroke victim said he noticed on their way back the voice was slurring, he though he was high from alcoholic beverages at the event they worked at. Meanwhile na stroke.
Omo if you have money, use it for yourself and family, eat it. Fly to London, stay in nice hotel, chop bellefull. Don't carry your money to give people before they say you use them for ritual or sacrifice.
