So that people can have an understanding of what they’re doing in the trading world, and also how the system works!

Now, most people use leverage to trade crypto, without really having an understanding of how the system works!

That’s very bad!

You have to get an understanding of the system that you are going to put your hard earned money into!


Lemme explain!

If you use a 5x leverage in futures trading!
What does it mean?

What it simply means is that each position you are opening is equivalent to *5 of your money!

What does it mean!
It simply means that you have 1 apple, but you are looking for a contract and you go to the bank to borrow a loan, which must be repaid without your knowledge when you close the trade.

Let’s go down again!
So you go to the bank with your 1 apple as collateral, and the bank gives you a loan for 4 extra apples, now you have 5 apples with you!

I am giving you an illustration for you to understand where I am driving to.

Now, that 4 apples that the bank gave to you when we equate it to the trading world is imaginary.

You might ask me why is it imaginary?

Let me explain how it is imaginary in the trading world, this is also how prop firms operate, but most people don’t know and they get wrecked because they’re over leveraging their account!

Let’s play this on the real world, so that you’ll know why it’s imaginary !

If you have a 50$ account.
And you open a *5 leverage position

Each $1 you commit into the market is termed *5

So automatically, your $50 on a *5 leverage is now an imaginary 250$


But! Most people don’t understand, your 50$ is a collateral for the risk you’re willing to take!

If you have $50 as your overall money, why would you go and take $250 to execute a business??

If it goes wrong, what happens?

You loose everything you know .

Let me explain further more

Now, if you have a $50 account on a *5 leverage

Let’s break it down!
If you commit $10 into the market on a *5 leverage, do you know that you have committed your entire $50 indirectly?

$10 * 5 =$50.00

Now, a $10 trade on a $50 account on a *5 leverage is a very perfect way to trade!


If you take two trades
$10 * 5 =$50.00. =========> first trade
$10 * 5 =$50.00. =========> Second trade

The total you are committing indirectly is $100 which is now higher than your money available!

This automatically puts pressure on your money, and do you know what that means?

Any small move the profits would move faster!
This is indirectly like someone that put a $100 in spot trading

Because if the person looses $30 into spot on that position , you’ll be down by 30% on that trade .

This is also how prop firms work

If you get a prop firm account let’s say a 5000 prop
Firm account .

You know the rules already
Some have minimum and maximum draw downs!
