"Did God Send You To Be Building Church" -Bishop Abioye To Church Leaders

I don't think I need to add much to what Bishop Abioye said in the video because his preaching here sounds so much like mine, he seemed to have taken the words right out of my mouth.

I won't be surprised though if some were naive enough to accuse me of being the actual voice behind that preaching but editing it to make it seem as though it was Bishop Abioye, because this is the same thing i've been saying here since I began preaching in this forum several years ago, about the misplaced priorities of the church leaders, including the respect of church buildings, I even said this about David Oyedepo in a recent thread.

But many ignorant Christians especially his church members, have accused me of being used by the devil to attack the church and divide Christianity with such preaching.

So what do they think of David Abioye saying just about the same thing of church leaders and it's pretty obvious the number 1 person he's referring to.

Do they also think the devil is now using him to attack the church and divide Christianity?

Remember this is the former right-hand man of David Oyedepo and the closest man to him for many years. The same man who was there with Oyedepo when he started the church, and his second in command and most expected successor, until he was forcefully retired from the church by Oyedepo.

It's really unfortunate how many Christians have turned their church leaders into gods that they now think it's a taboo to correct or call them to order even when it's beyond glaring they've derailed from the original purpose and lost focus.

Thank God though not everyone is blind to what the misplaced priorities of these church leaders, especially prosperity preachers, have turned church and many Christians into.

It has turned the church into a den of thieves and a place where sin and Satan is thriving.

So it feels really good to have Bishop Abioye also join us in calling the erring pastors and church leaders to order.

His forceful retirement from Oyedepo's church is proving more and more to be a blessing the more we get to hear his preaching.

For those who claim he has been preaching such messages while yet in winners, they should please kindly show us video evidence of it and we'd believe it, otherwise forever hold their peace.

We have more churches today because of the sharing formula of tithe and offering of a church. The owner of a church takes everything the gullible congregants bring to church, so people who want to partake in the free money quickly open their own church and fortunately, there are enough gullible people to go round.

Guys stop giving these lazy pulpit thieves your hard earned money. Whoever or whatever made the universe will NEVER EVER EVER NEVER need your money for A N Y T H I N G whatsoever.

Baffling to think that this same Abioye was shading Damina few weeks ago for calling out these pulpit fraudsters. Preaching all sorts of rubbish that the church is like a market bla bla bla. Now that you’ve been used and dumped, you’re now bleating? Abegi jare!

I hope it's not another format to say the opposite of what he was part of before so as to gain crowd to himself.

The true servants of the living God are the unpopular pastors....And what they preach about is salvation and holiness.

Most of these big churches are business centers and all they preach is prosperity...They don't care if you're a sinner or not.

The most annoying thing is the way members idolize these men of God.

Only God knows who's truly serving him.

You are right but when it becomes a competition and as a yardstick for showing to the world how financially strong your institution has become, then, it has become another thing.
