— One Turkey leg 108 Rubles About 1,623 naira
— 0.5 kg Pig meat 227 Rubles About 3,412 naira
— One Whole chicken about 1.5kg 180 Rubles about 2,705 naira
— 0.7kg Onions 66 Rubles About 992 naira
— 1kg Sweet Potatoes 94 Rubles About 1,413 naira

Mind you, the OP said it is even expensive because of logistics and the remoteness of Yakutsk to other parts of Russia. So, these things are cheaper in other parts of Russia.

So, Ibime, how much is this sold in the UK? I see one 0.9 kg of turkey leg is 6,484 naira at Tesco. That is about four times the price in Russia. And to even think that the Russian one is larger since it is 1kg and not 0.9.

I checked chicken prices on Tesco too, and that one is even worse 😂😂. But we should not long the talk too much, how much are they sold in your UK since food is cheaper there than Russia?

Some people are just born to be dumb and unintelligent. While average basic salary in Moscow, the highest earning part of Russia is about 100k Rubles per month, the cost of living for a single person is about 35 to 50k rubles for a single room apartment. Estimated Basic expenses for a single person in a month is about 60k rubles, thereby leaving the basic Russian with a deficit and practically zero savings in a month.
Some fools are still telling us about how one nose of Turkey is 200 naira. Rubbish and ingredients. Mtcheeeew!!!

Who spoke about food cost in Russia who earn 8 times less than UK. What you need to worry about is the inflation on food items not the price.

That's like saying food in Nigeria is cheap (which it is extremely cheap), meanwhile Nigerians are groaning of inflation cos it's relative to their earnings

Same way UK does not boast about being cheaper than Switzerland cos the Swiz earn more.

I'm currently relaxing in Cape Verde at a place that would cost the average Russian 7 months salary to get here, while this clown catching migraine over UK whose economic capacity brought me here with ease
