❗️Thousands of Israelis again took part in an anti-government rally in Tel Aviv Citizens are demanding a deal to release hostages from the Gaza Strip. As before, pickets are held near a complex of government buildings, where police and ambulance forces are on duty. 📝 According to unverified information, protests are also taking place against the resumption of judicial reform and the “law on service evasion.” It was previously reported that the Yemeni Houthis are in Tel Aviv. |

TikTok will be blocked for a year in Albania, Prime Minister Edi Rama "In China, TikTok promotes how students can take courses, how to protect nature, how to preserve traditions, but on TikTok outside of China, we only see scum and dirt. Why do we need this?" he said. The announcements of the social network being blocked came a month after a 14-year-old student was killed. Another teenager was injured in a fight near a school in Tirana, which began with a conflict on social networks. |

⚡Nearly 40% of US fast attack submarines are in repair or awaiting maintenance as shipyards face a shortage of workers and and supply chain issues, according to a new report from the Congressional Research Service. Of the 49 fast attack submarines in the Navy, a total of 18 are either in depot maintenance or awaiting maintenance, known as idle. According to the report, that number is significantly higher than the Navy target of 20% of the fast attack fleet undergoing maintenance and zero submarines sitting idle and waiting to begin maintenance. Bloomberg was first to report on the number of submarines that are out of commission. The last year the Navy was under its target rate was in fiscal year 2015, when a total of 10 submarines – or 19% of the fast attack fleet – were either in or awaiting maintenance. Since then, the number and rate of submarines out of commission has steadily risen to its current high of 37%. The number of fast attack submarines in the Navy has also steadily declined from a high of 53 a decade ago to the current fleet of 49 subs.

🇷🇺 Reinforced concrete shelters for aircraft are being built at the Belbek airbase in Crimea This was reported by the Western publication TWZ, publishing recent satellite images: 📝 “Approximately 10 fortified shelters in various stages of construction can be seen above the existing aircraft parking areas in the central part of the site. In a separate part of the base, another structure is also being built, the purpose of which is unclear, but which looks fortified.” |

Some time in the last 48 hours, ex SAA soldiers neutralized HTS terrorists around Damascus. Second operation after the first in Latakia. One time is an anomaly. Two times is a coincidence. Three times is a pattern. HTS outlets are blaming UAE and Maher al Assad (he is close to UAE, used to be fervently pro-Iran) for the Damascus protests. Iran demand HTS arrest and prosecute the killers of an embassy staff (the staff is Syrian) who died after his car was shot at a week ago. I guess the party is getting started. -Lord |

⚡Donald Trump calls for reclaiming the Panama Canal, criticizing Panama’s fees for U.S. ships as “ridiculous” and a “complete rip-off.” He labeled the 1977 Treaty transferring control to Panama as a mistake and suggested the U.S. demand the canal’s return if Panama fails to manage it effectively.

LordAdam16:Funny I was just about to post it. Something big is coming. Al Pronouni or whatever the fvck is his name, has no idea what's about to hit him. SAA is far from done with Syria. |
| Re: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by LordAdam16: 9:04am On Dec 22, 2024 |
WrriterNg:I saw past commentary about what should be done about ex SAA soldiers. Having a fraction of them on a payroll is very valuable. It is also viable because funds formerly used to subsidize Assad's regime can be redirected to them. The harder task is hatching out an objective and creating a self-sustaining enclave for them. If they come out boldly against the terrorists, it'll actually be a lifeline for the terrorists as the SAA guys will be blamed for the terrorist regime's inadequacies. inflation rises, it'll be the neo-SAA fault. If there's gasoline shortage, it'll be the neo-SAA fault. Can't pay salaries, you get the point... A large section of Syrians are still in a honeymoon phase with the terrorists, they'll readily lap up these excuses and say the Assads and Iran did not give the terrorists a fair chance to implement their vision, whatever that is. A neo-SAA will likely also be an undefended target for Israeli air strikes. So I guess the best course of action is to prep ex-SAA forces. Organize them into cells. Fund them clandestinely. Use them as a Resistance proxy in Syria. Carry out sporadic attacks to weaken the terrorist regime. Then wait for a spark. The Axis must have a force ready to enforce its dictates when the opportunity arises. I really couldn't care less about Joulani. He is an avatar who will not be missed if he dies or is deposed. -Lord |

Ibime, this thread (link to thread) about the prices of food items in Russia has almost 51,600 views as of today, making it one of the most popular threads on front page in recent days. I know you have seen it, but I see that in your usual practice, you have refused to comment on it because it just exposed your propaganda about food being expensive in Russia. These are the prices (1 ruble = 15.03 naira as of today): — One Turkey leg 108 Rubles About 1,623 naira — 0.5 kg Pig meat 227 Rubles About 3,412 naira — One Whole chicken about 1.5kg 180 Rubles about 2,705 naira — 0.7kg Onions 66 Rubles About 992 naira — 1kg Sweet Potatoes 94 Rubles About 1,413 naira Mind you, the OP said it is even expensive because of logistics and the remoteness of Yakutsk to other parts of Russia. So, these things are cheaper in other parts of Russia. So, Ibime, how much is this sold in the UK? I see one 0.9 kg of turkey leg is 6,484 naira at Tesco. That is about four times the price in Russia. And to even think that the Russian one is larger since it is 1kg and not 0.9. I checked chicken prices on Tesco too, and that one is even worse 😂😂. But we should not long the talk too much, how much are they sold in your UK since food is cheaper there than Russia?

Kingsnairaland:Isn't it very obvious? The Houthis shot it down. They're just too proud to admit it. It's why they love fighting poor rag tag militias without satellite imaging, so that when their billion dollar equipment get destroyed, they'll not be able to prove it. No photo evidence. |

shoodboi2:I asked cococandy and she has been silent since. Maybe because she knows that it'll take a fortune to purchase similar items in the US. They swore Russia's economy is in decline and ordinary people can no longer afford anything. They're just too propagandized by their media, they don't know what's happening in the real world. They know nothing happening outside the four walls of the US. Let's not even talk about gas, clothes, electricity bills in Russia. Those ones are like the cheapest anywhere. In 2014 despite all the sanctions and dollar restrictions, Russian were still living good. Imagine now that Europe and others are buying Russian oil and gas in Rubles. |

Some people are just born to be dumb and unintelligent. While average basic salary in Moscow, the highest earning part of Russia is about 100k Rubles per month, the cost of living for a single person is about 35 to 50k rubles for a single room apartment. Estimated Basic expenses for a single person in a month is about 60k rubles, thereby leaving the average Russian with a deficit and practically zero savings in a month. Some fools are still telling us about how one nose of Turkey is 200 naira. Rubbish and ingredients. Mtcheeeew!!! |

shoodboi2:I know I'm living rent free in this eediot head. Who spoke about food cost in Russia who earn 8 times less than UK. What you need to worry about is the inflation on food items not the price. That's like saying food in Nigeria is cheap (which it is extremely cheap), meanwhile Nigerians are groaning of inflation cos it's relative to their earnings Same way UK does not boast about being cheaper than Switzerland cos the Swiz earn more. I'm currently relaxing in Cape Verde at a place that would cost the average Russian 7 months salary to get here, while this clown catching migraine over UK whose economic capacity brought me here with ease

Basic economics isn't supposed to be this hard for even an ordinary secondary school student. How dumb and unintelligent some folks can really be. Pukes |

Ibime:How many years salary did it take you to be able to afford there? Abi is it with UK salary. The same UK we all know has a 40% income tax? Unless you're earning below £50,000 then you get like 20 - 30% tax. You earn £50,000 which is even high. Taxes 20%. Total take home = £38,771 yearly, £3,230.92 monthly, £745.60 weekly. Average rent in the UK is £1,200 minus other bills. I'll bet my entire savings you don't earn up to £50,000. Because then you'll have to pay 40% tax. Even the Prime Minister and top UK bankers earn nothing more than £170,000 gross. |
