Why not sue the suspect and if found guilty, apply appropriate sanction instead of telling us this rooster and bull story?
Mumu Taiwo, you spew this trash because the man in question is Yoruba. You are one of the tribal bigots in this forum that have turned this place to an arena for promoting tribalism and supremacy.
You know deep down in your mind that you would have even mentioned Peter Obi's name if the criminal arrested was to bear a name from his tribe.

Shame on you all.

This was you on another thread. Why don’t you continue here in that line of thought?
Because this is an anomaly. Just 1%.

99% of drug traffickers belong to a single tribe. So anomalies don’t count.

These two tribes are just disgracing Nigeria up and down. They would come online and be abusing each other as if one is cleaner than the other.

Shame on you Yoru-igbo/Okoro-yoba/Igbo-odua or what should I give them now.

Consistently denting Nigeria image home and abroad.

I am Yoruba and I want this bastard beheaded in broad day light or during live broadcast on Instagram to serve as lesson to other fools like him. Yoruba do not pamper drug dealers only Igbo celebrate them.

This is list of Nigerians awaiting execution in Saudi Arabia for drug offenses.

The list still continues.

This your response is only buttressing my face. The news you shared in your screenshot is almost 7 years ago or older.

If it is an everyday thing, you would have shared like yesterday news.

I can supply you with two different Ibo drug traffickers per day and I can extend it backward from 2024 to 2015.

That’s approx #7,306 arrests alone.

Dude. Get real. This narrative has casted. The stories are everywhere on social media. Even your leader forfeited over $600,000 heroin trafficking proceeds. You and your folks are just the ones too eager to push a different narrative.

The question is, Is tribal bigotry a bonding factor for Tinubu supporters?

Why not sue the suspect and if found guilty, apply appropriate sanction instead of telling us this rooster and bull story? Is public opinion a court of competent jurisdiction in this case?

It should be recalled all accused are presumed innocent until proved otherwise by a court of competent jurisdiction. If that is the case, why running to the media over a case yet to be decided by appropriate authorities?
what if the name was chukwudi
I wonder if your comment would have been different

I've noticed that here on nairaland. Once the news is about Igbo, they all bare their fangs and attack but if it's Yoruba, they try to cover it up.

He said, “Olarenwaju was convicted for a similar crime earlier this year following his arrest on 12th December 2023 for attempting to ship 4.90kg tramadol and 2.10kg rohypnol to South Africa through the export shed of the Lagos airport.
“He was sentenced to two years imprisonment by a Federal High Court in Lagos with an option to pay a fine of N900, 000, which he paid and was freed before returning to repeat the same crime:

all these people with nice names and nice cars. dem be nothing but drug dealers. just look, this option of fine and the man go back to the same crime again.
