Let me use this medium to share a similar story of what happened while I was in 400l in school .

We were in 400l that year and almost everybody was already sure of what grade they will end up with after final year exams, so most of us took school matters with little seriousness. We all wanted to enjoy our 400l after so many struggles in the school .

That was how the school mosque announced during Ramadan that they will be killing a whole cow for Iftar on a specific date next ( I think the designated day was Thursday ). Throughout ghat week all Muslims kept on telling the non Muslims about the good news and we were all looking forward to that date in a joyous mood .

The day came and people went scouting to confirm the cow was currently in the mosque premises waiting to be slaughtered in the afternoon . We revived the scouting news with glee . All the bro. Timothy , bro . james and Bro. Philip wey be prayer warrior for Christian chapel have all sharpened their mouth to chop Tafsir food

When the fateful evening came , all road led to the school central mosque. We got to the venue and met throng of Muslim and non Muslim faithfuls .Me sef enact enter mosque since dem born me until that day. When the Muslim students society that organized the event saw the mammoth crowd, their liver cut and they realized the mistake they made announcing free food on a public address system at the last Jumat.

They tried to share few plates and they they saw it was a shit-show . Long and short , they couldn’t share the food without having a stampede because of the large number of people waiting to get food . We had students from comfortable homes waiting patiently to get food they could buy with their monies o. At that point, getting the food became an Aluta struggle .

Las las , me and my friends got the food around past 10.00pm when a whole lot of people had already left out of frustration . We ended up saying the two evening prayers in the mosque just watching people’s mouth ( 😂we had no shame at that time sha ).

I was caught in the traffic that ensued from roadblock around Airport road Ikeja on Wednesday when he touched down Lagos.

On Friday while he was going for Jumat, I was still caught in another traffic around that Oregun side.

Abeg make Una epp us beg to at least block one side of the road and not both sides of the road anytime he's going out na 😢. Make he ni spoil this december movement for us with all this blocking for road for hours
