Stop this please. Oriyomi is well experienced to foresee what will happen but the urge to use the programme to gain more popularity blinded him.

What about the person that plugged Nigerians into deep hunger?
Are you amongst the Nigerians in deep hunger?

It was disheartening reading about the deaths of innocent kids all in the name of festive period celebration

The organisers should be arrested and prosecuted accordingly.

Why adding sorrow to the hardship Experiencing by Nigerians ?
This boy your English is terrible. grin

Permit? I am talking about the security aspect in controlling the crowd.

Not just only crowd self, touts normally come to such event to obtain innocent people, security would be needed there too

The organisers should be held responsible

The reason I am engaging him is that I have studied him, he doesn't insult people that opinion do not align with his own, which shows that he is cool headed and has strong IQ, He is far better than many nairalanders that cannot express their opinion without insults and name calling
Well, we all look but see differently. Those ones you made reference to are actually better than him because they don't hide their feelings as stupid as it may seem. But this one, hypocrisy is his surname which is worse. Maybe you have not studied him enough

The Nigerian Police is liable. They were on ground to provide security and ensure smooth running of the program

Bro you see one tricky thing about the media, one advert can bring you down. Hamzàt didn't just advertise that event he was part of the organizers behind the door.

If a fake company run ad in your media and people fell for it, your media would be held responsible

You can't just go to any media and say you want to advertise
Although you are right to some extent, but Hamzat and the police don't share your view, He said they just used his media house for publicity, and the police said he was just a media partner. That is why he was not arrested.

They only arrested The Ex queen, The school principal and the some other staff of the school.

It is quite unfortunate to see what faulty policies has reduced Nigeria to. The level of hunger in this nation is alarming, and I believe that is the remote cause of stampede we are seeing recently.

Okay. You are organizing a party, you gave the cook money for 5,000 people but only 3,000 foods was available for the guest. Who would people blame? The cook or the organizer?

Bro, if you are used to media, you don't give much publicity to an event without being part of the organizers. Media ads is expensive. The more the ads are repeated, the more you pay.

So Hamzàt was part and parcel of that event

Reason why most event organizers always partner with the media is because of cost of running ads.

Channels TV, 60 secs ad at prime time 10pm is almost N300k. 60 secs, which is 1 minute

Arrested because they tried in their own little way to help children that are being starved by the bad policies of the current govt ?

I get what you are saying, but you know this is a forum of thousands of people, we cannot all have the same view on things. If you have 20 lawyers in a place and give them a case to solve they will all have different opinion.

His view might be different from others especially me, may be as a result of his political affiliation with a political party, But he expresses it without insulting others. That is what makes us human.

The reason why the forum is interesting is because we have different views about issues.

the shock of 35 children that died that day is enough to make any sane human collapse.

Very good. Because you have no affiliation with the event even though you will be touched but not to the extent of collapsing

Even if they didn't charge, people donated money for the event

They didn't spend much on securing the venue
You're talking nonsense.

I see how you stylishly avoided the question about the stampede that occurred during the Customs Rice palliative.

This has invalidated whatever point you think you are making.

You're shameless
See how you kept lying all from the fp till now
If you have no facts, why didn't you find out before looking to apportion blames

And you're among those who quickly dismiss any news not favourable to the govt as fake news

Arresting them is mostly for their own protection. They should be kept away for some time while the parents who lost their kids must have gotten over it
