daveP:Liverpool will have to suffer a major breakdown similar to Man City for us to surpass them. The goals they conceded against Tottenham is a good sign that their defense is cracking because that has been their major strength this season. Like our defense is our major problem too. |

Spy360:The attacking lineup Slot used today was explosive; something other contenders in the league lack. Gakpo, Diaz, Salah and Szoboszlai were a combination of speed, creativity, power, technique, movement and finishing. |

Spy360:Their attack be like 100 and defense kon be like 30, especially if TAA continues to be in that backline and VVD without his Konate. If anything happens to anyone else in that backline, things will crumble. I love how nothing concerns them with possession until they've gotten the lead. After lead, they start some possession football and then switch to full counter when other team prefers to press and possess. |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Roland17(m): 5:41pm On Dec 23, 2024 |
iamoyindamola:8 weeks!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhh. My entire day is messed up now. I hate muscle related injuries because they are the worst when it comes to full recovery and regaining form. We have to do something now. Sterling will finish me with HBP if he is the option. Martinelli impressed yesterday but there is no assurance with him. Lord why! |

Spy360:the goals we conceded yday was generally the players being too relaxed that they have won the game. it wasn't necessarily defence .. we reduced intensity after the 5th goal and sort of playing carelessly without bother underestimating spurs. you can see after the 3rd goal from spurs, we sort of woke up again ...but you're right though. if the likes of Vvd goes out as he's the only solid pne on that back for now . the rest are 50/50 .. we gonna suffer conceding much goals but we would as well score much of it too .. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by DeeScan: 5:48pm On Dec 23, 2024 |
daveP:we actually do possession. but it's in the First half. the second half is more about intensity and counters.. our first looks something deployed to understudy the opposition team tactics .. I've noticed that severally.. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 6:00pm On Dec 23, 2024 |
DeeScan:You are spot on. Your players were too relaxed. Immediately Spurs scored the third, you increase the tempo and knocked them out with the sixth goal. I just knew no way Spurs was winning that match yesterday especially with that backline and most importantly the record. I think Liverpool have lost just 2 out of the last 17 matches against Spurs. |

Roland17:That injury have been coming That boy have been overused with no replacement, this was how rashford case started and everyone turned their back on him I hope it won't be the case of saka, we need to enter market and get someone closer |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by daveP(m): 6:44pm On Dec 23, 2024 |
DeeScan:Yeah. That's how we do 1st half, but its failed vs Fulham and Everton. And against Inter in UCL. It won't be much a problem if finishing in those games were above average. One aspect i missed are those Ozil chip over defense in a 1-2 pass. We don't do that again. I hope we don't drop any valuable points with the smallies again. |

iamoyindamola:I cringe when what someone is shouting here against eventually happens then many realize there ought to have been or not been. That boy supposed dey rest well welllll. If he returns, they better manage him cos luth no go good for everyone o. |

daveP:look at rashford I read he’s not really interested in football again Don’t know if it’s true or false either way he was managed well Majority of these young lads are been over used and the games kept on coming |

DeeScan:I know you were. I was just stating the difference and similarities. You guys are quicker in transition and more decisive in going forward till you see the net. No worry. You go still drop points. Pray nothing do your VVD. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by daveP(m): 7:56pm On Dec 23, 2024 |
iamoyindamola:The breaking of disciplinary rules since the last 3 managers is proof. I believe it. My own is why die there? Is it by force to die at Man U? Guy doesn't know if he can come alive again elsewhere. Plus the media overhypes man u youths than anyone I've know. The way they hype Daniel James, Lingard, Martial and co, you'll think they go dey regular for Balon D'or top 20 by now. Even Palmer no still colet hype reach these man u boys. Since that pk miss at euros, guy has never remained the same baller again. Plays like pressing and tackling is abominable to him. |

🚨👀 January signings after Bukayo Saka and Raheem Sterling’s injuries? Mikel Arteta: “My intention right now is to get the best of what we have”. cc: mostob, daveP... all I care for at the end of season is at least one major trophy. |

iamoyindamola:Truthfully, I can’t say I am surprised by the length of Saka’s layoff because I have talked about it for 3 seasons. A long layoff was inevitable because of the accumulations of burnouts. Saka has a different drive than Rashford and I think that will help. We have had several opportunities to get good deputies for Saka but we have spent them on defenders and nonsense players like Sterling. |

Akinbahm:Arteta's interviews can be interesting but frustrating at times. Man is too ambiguous. You go sign players or you no go sign? simple question. |

🔴⚪️ Arteta on replacing Saka out for weeks: “I’m putting some ideas together, we will be doing new things as we did when Ødegaard was out”.Credit: Fabrizio If Nwaneri can play Saka's wing, I wouldn't mind at all. I just hope he puts in enough work on the defensive end. We can try him out in a small match like Ipswich ND if things don't work out we can have Martinelli play there |

daveP:I do not mind Carabao as icing after getting either of UCL or EPL tho the latter is more feasible and he can get both if opportunity present itself. |

BlueRayDick:Arteta would rather drift Odegaard go that side and return Advertz back to middle than to throw Nwaneri there. In addy to another haram playing style... all I need is 3 points every match day till February irrespective of the opposition. |

🗣️Les Ferdinand on Bukayo Saka getting injured in the Arsenal vs Palace game: “If there was a perfect time to get injured, it would be now. If he was going to be out for any spell, it would be over this Christmas period. There seems to be sense in what this man is saying. |

I am nit expecting any big signing this window. And we have 2 more loan spaces due to Neto and Sterling transfers. |
