I lived in northern Ireland and it's one of the worst places you can be, because even within them there is sectarian violence between Catholics and protestant. There are sections of within Belfast you don't go to because even between themselves they don't go. All these ones will just japa and think they are accepted. I lived in dunganon was the only black face till I met some Philippines people. These guys are not welcoming because they have a long lasting internal issue with in themselves, so they don't give 2 fvcks about you.

I am currently in Nigeria tho, I guess things have gotten better.

This isn't true, very far from what's on ground.
Everywhere and everyone in Belfast is approachable.
And some people refer to the whole Island as Ireland.

There is still space in Nigeria, he can come back home if he is tired of racism, Nigerians have their own truck load of problems to deal with.

Yes I was there couple years ago but my service was deeper. So technically I have the leverage to project how the politics will play for long period. Yes having Palestinians and Irish flags isn't a sign of anything solid. After all the Irish have been active supporters of the PLO since the 60s, so nothing new. As long you have good percentage of Northern Irish that want to be part of United Kingdom, a unification isn't on the card any time soon.

Don't worry the honeymoon period of Irish and Palestine will be over sooner than you know it. I am saying this out first hand Frontline experience not something read from a book.
