It always amuses me when some people see leaving Nigeria as some kind of achievement. 🤗 Some are just so desperate, so desperate to leave Nigeria to any Oyinbo land. I was told about a man who left Nigeria for Albania. The man dey chop kwa-kwa for there now🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Albania is a very poor country in Europe. I hope Abike Dabiri will pick his call very soon. No matter how bad the situation is, Nigeria is still at the middle. Lots of places are worse than Nigeria while some better than Nigeria. Irrespective of what the situation is in your father's house, never be like the South-Easterns who discribe their father's house with the left hand... |

He will come back. Lagos people are attached to the noise and chaotic lifestyle. Silence may deafen him in Portugal. |

Parydelegate:To come and do what Exactly? His passport takes him to UK without visa and he has free 151 countries on his list, and he can visit Europe, the entire schengen area almost without visas, without being accosted at the airport, so if you say he will be back, i am asking you, to do exactly what? Suffer with you? after voting nonsense? After voting someone without direction? Are you mad? what kind of crack have you been smoking? Enjoy your Renewed hopelessness oga. Tinubu day impoverish you to sponsor he child political ambition, you day say come back, come back and do what exactly? Don't wish evil on someone who has escaped evil. Thank you very much. |

Softmirror:Better quality of life in terms of the essentials Quality roads, medical care, education system, power supply, water supply, recreational facilities, employment opportunities, earning power, security, civil service interactions, and so on. So understand why it is that way for many. No be say you go build house finish, one government go just come clear am with bulldozer. Or you go dey find fuel for generator up and down every week. Personally, don't see it as an achievement to be boastful of, it is rather humbling for me in the sense that if Nigeria was in order and had the basics of power, good roads , good hospitals, pipe borne water , good security and recreational facilities, I would rather live in my Lagos jejely able to see my childhood friends from time to time and speak my language every time. Abroad can be lonely ooo...especially when you grew up in a city like Lagos and you work a remote job from home and dont go clubbing at all. For my whole street I fit no see my neighbor for one month. In fact apart from the houses directly in front and on both sides of mine, I don't know who lives and have never seen those who live in the remaining 30 houses in 10 years now. If not for ball wey I dey play with other Nigerians every weekend and church on Sundays, I for no dey speak Yoruba at all. Everybody dey mind their own business and with time you get used to it. You can't just say make I go knock sey I want greet you...after a while you sef go dey reluctant to allow anybody enter your house. Still I have zero regrets. |
