That country came out of a war. It still has the level with Sarajevo, Georgia and co. There Is no way it can be better than Nigeria. Sorry I don't agree with you on this. Is South Sudan better than Nigeria ? They have nearly same grade.

Some are just so desperate, so desperate to leave Nigeria to any Oyinbo land. I was told about a man who left Nigeria for Albania. The man dey chop kwa-kwa for there now🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Albania is a very poor country in Europe.

I hope Abike Dabiri will pick his call very soon.
Keep shut there, helinues!!! Sane Nigerians are leaving this hellhole so that you and your fellow stipend collectors promoting amala politics can enjoy the government alone. Why are you worried? Face your cheap propaganda work online.

This is asinine.

Its no big deal to you but it is a big deal to others. Then shut your trap, nobody is asking you to dick measure on nairaland.

Asking such a dumb question after the guy duly explained his reasons in the vidoe smacks of inferiorty in thinking.

People relocate for different reasons. I have Caucasian neighbours who actually left the US for Mexico despite all the noise about insecurity and drug issues there. I also have a former colleague at work who left for Hong Kong with his wife and made it a big news for everyone to know when he was leaving....nobody came out to ask why they saw it as a big deal or not a big deal. Why? Because its myopic to want to justify or rarionalise peoples personal decisions. Its myopic

Reasons for relocation are personal...overlaying it on your own experience is simply dumb.
Sense won kill you for this reply
You too much

When you leave Nigeria, do not abandon the country entirely.

Get your foreign citizenship, foreign education and create a business you can run from Nigeria and then, come back even if to live in Nigeria part-time or full time. The biggest mistake I made was staying away from Nigeria for to long, I have now learnt my lessons. It does not not matter the situation in the country, I believe I have what it takes to succeed and live a better life way beyond anything I can have abroad.

The richest Nigerians are in Nigeria.

I wish Tayo best of luck.
The richest Nigerians that were given oil wells, exclusive import licences and waivers, licence to operate banks, etc.

How many made it without govt patronage or politics?

Don't be deceived.

Ask Fayose's brother who invested in 9ja. Hear his story.

If you leave 9ja, don't look back. Those of us that looked back to invest hard-earned money regret it.

9ja people are just like their govt. No difference. The politicians are a product of the people.

Who nor go nor know.

The same reason the crooks ruling Nigeria all try to get another passport so that they and their families can have a better life. The same reason they jet out of the zoo for any kind of medical treatment. The same reason their kids are all schooling abroad. No need to go on...Nigeria has failed it's citizens!

Naaahhh...!!! you have gone too far for him. Not sure he can comprehend all you have written below. Dont be surprised he comes back with a response similar or close to calling you an Obidient or an IPOB. Their reasoning is not beyond that. He is a simpleton.

TheWitchKing:
Nigeria has a population of 200 + million people. And inside these 200 million Plus people, Few are in politics (Thats the current paying venture in the whole of Nigeria now, the only lucrative one Paying billions for being very stupid, and on your resume, you must have been a thief in maybe your community or working as a thief in maybe NEPA before you join) And since not every one can enter, How them for do?
Now let me explain something you are not getting. Investors do not come into Nigeria because of the governmental messed up policies (I have 2 startups , No funding. I ended up using my savings to pay my workers and all) , Remote work, you have to struggle with geographical location in order to meet survival. Even Almighty Andela now , has started "geographical location" madness , before you can get a Job. Ok still not convinced, Let me show you something again, 2014, your passport was visa free to 60 countries. I would like you to google and tell me how many it is now. Ok, let me help you, it is 27! 27 countries alone! Ok let me help you, google High risk immigration countries OR high risk countries. And tell me if you do not see Nigeria there.
Now if Tayo Aina and co decided or rather decides to leave , You are saying "Nigeria is fun" and castigating them. I am asking the fun you speak of, Fun in what way exactly? Because you can change $100 and it gives you 170k to throw around? You don consider those for Ladipo, Trade fair and co? Custom duty nko? How is everything here looking like fun?

E be like you be one of those 30k and 3 Onions people, abi?
Re: Why I Left Nigeria For Portugal - Tayo Aina (Video) by Blazetrailer:
70% of those making headway are politicians and their cohorts/relatives
20% of those making headway are fraudsters and ritualists
5% are government contractors who survive by giving out huge bribes
3% are smugglers who have no other means of survival and exploit the loopholes at the ports/borders
1% are traders who rip off people based on current scarcity and galloping inflation
1% are office workers who connive to steal company funds

No genuine person is making headway in Nigeria currently

DON'T MIND LOW IQ NIGERIANS.

In South Africa, 500,000 women are raped every year.

It's the rape capital of the world.

Johannesburg is the crime and carjacking capital of Africa, if not the world.

Yet I have not for ONE DAY seen a single South African go online to say ''Don't go to South Africa o! They will rape you there o! It's the world rape capital o!'' ''Don't go to Johannesburg o! They will carjack you there o!''

NEVER.

Instead they debate their issues among themselves within their country, while presenting their best face to the world.

Many Nigerians are just stupid. No sense.

And then because you've presented your country as the worst place on earth, the rest of the world, including those from countries far worse off than yours, will stereotype and look down on YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN.

Stupid things.

Re: Why I Left Nigeria For Portugal - Tayo Aina (Video) by Blazetrailer:
How did Nigeria build his capacity?
Some of you are so simplistic.

When people strove against all odds to make themselves something despite all the hardship thrown at them by Nigeria, you guys are quick to claim Nigeria built them

An example is Kemi Badenoch. I read that after sometime in UK, under the promptings of her father, she wanted to come back to play politics in Nigeria and contacted a few political leaders in Ibadan, Oyo state. She was told blantantly to forget it because of her gender and that she would have to sheepishly obey commands of her political leaders whether right or wrong......things she felt was not right and completely against her type of politics. She found her way back to the UK and has successfully become someone in line to be a future prime minister of another country and I see a lot of Nigerians bashing her, claiming that Nigeria made her and so she should be an ambassador and image launderer of the type of politicians currently ruling Nigeria...how stupidly ? How exactly did Nigeria make Kemi Badenoch??

You dont have an idea of how many talented Nigerians that chose to become patriotic and whose dreams have been killed by Nigeria? I know a few that sold all they had abroad to come invest in Nigeria and ran back to nothing in a year or so after Nigeria showed them the "true Nigeria". Also, I know millions of people who give praises everyday to their creator for the better opportunities they have in life because they chose to get out of Nigeria. There are so many talents blossoming in the world now that were buried or would have been buried in Nigeria. Recently on Nairaland, a guy came to celebrate his house(obviously on mortgage)and a brand new car(rented) after 3 years in the UK. Same guy was roaming the streets of both Abia and Lagos for 4 years combined, for lack of a job because of nepotism and tribalism. I would want you to tell such a person how Nigeria made him. Chances are that if there was a war and they ask him which of both countries he would like to go to war to defend with his life for continued existence, it is obvious the one he will choose. Many civil servants are nearing retirement in Nigeria without a plot of land to their names and most likely maybe a loan for tricycle or a tokuboh jalopy as their only gain for working for nearly 30 years. Those people will give an arm and a leg to have the opportunity that young man in the UK has now.

If you are politician or a relative of one, it is not surpising the rhetorics you will prefer though.

Re: Why I Left Nigeria For Portugal - Tayo Aina (Video) by Blazetrailer:
Lol...simpleton, calm down and reason.

How exactly did he rise on the back of Nigeria? Someone who used his talent to make a name for himself?

The guy explained the challenges he was facing living in Nigeria and made the best of choices for his future and career.....how has he spat on the face of Nigeria?

Should he remain in Nigeria where there is no energy, power supply, restricted travelling flight connections, insecurity and poor facilities for the sake of pateotism while the people he is competing with globally have all these in abundance....??

Its either you are pained the guy had left your zoo for you or you earn a living from posting dumb comments like this.

....and I am not IPOB /ESN. I am from SW. Not all of us support forgery, drug dealing and incompetence as the virtues of a leader.

TimeTraveller:
Tayo Aina is a bast.ard who rose on the backs of Nigeria only to turnaround to spit on the flag.

Only IPOB/ESN elements support him. They are tbe same.

Better quality of life in terms of the vitals

Quality roads, medical care, education system, power supply, water supply, recreational facilities, employment opportunities, earning power, security, civil service interactions, and so on.

So understand why it is that way for many.

No be say you go build house finish, one government go just come clear am with bulldozer.
OH PLEASE SHUT THE FCK UP.

If you build illegally in Europe they will bulldoze your house there too.

Nigeria is full of places with adequate facilities.

Tayo Aina could EASILY move to Abuja where everything is very organized, and continue his work there.

It's just the usual Nigerian self-hatred and inferiority complex that yearns for the ''white man's land'' regardless of your situation in Nigeria.

When Tayo Aina was building his YouTube channel, he never complained about Nigeria. He was showing videos hyping developments in Nigeria, hyping Lekki, V.I. etc, and gaining hundreds of thousands of Nigerian subscribers.

Now he has gotten over a million subscribers and hit the big time, he starts to diss Nigeria.

Abeg FCK OFF all of you worthless traitors. (SPIT)

I go to all these places on holidays since a toddler so it's no big deal to me. Truth be told, I have never loved any of those countries because of either their weather, their to much privacy, loss in family bond. I prefer going on holidays and back home, Nigeria. One of the countries I can't stand during winter is Canada even some Canadians relocate for a short period to other countries during winter, their aged ones do this a lot.

Bottom line, it's no big deal to me. Nigeria is a lot of fun. If you have family members who were born in U.K or U.S.A you will notice that at most times, when the travel down to Nigeria they feel reluctant to go back.
Una Sabi lie sha. You wey never smell airport. Everybody will be claiming what they are not.
