Such practices ended with Buhari Administration, Nigeria now have more money that doubled FAAC allocation to States, Nelfund, Minimum wage increment, Capital Projects, Refineries upgrade/upgrading, Infrastructure development, Reasonable security, Offset of Loan, local & international etç

If you listen well, Mr President said in the interview that for the past 3 months now, he has never needed any money from NNPC and he has never collected any dime from them and he's meeting his obligations smoothly .

We all come on NL to read news but only a few have a sense of understanding of what they read. In the 2025 budget, there's a huge deficit of 13.39tr naira which will be financed by borrowing. Salary takes a substantial part of our yearly budget.

In most cases, the way stadium is financed in America is not different. Probably worst. In America, private sport owners will lobby for local or state government to finance their stadium. They will promote the benefit of employment and sales tax generated from the stadium as economic benefit to the state or the local economy. However, the profit generated by the sport franchise go to the club owners' pocket. This always lead to constant friction between club franchises and community advocates.

If a super rich country like America is getting stadium financed by government, how do you expect Nigeria to get the money to build world class stadium without federal government intervention? I believe it is a worthy investment if the money will not be stolen. Once built the stadium should be self sustaining if properly managed. The problem is that our people are more interested in what they are going to steal instead of the service they can provide.

Imagine the stadium Julius Berger built then that was the best but now it's a shadow of itself.
