Baidu is used in China, but it is available worldwide. There's simply no enough appeal for it usage outside China.

What the legal man Gbadebo was driving at is that even with restrictions on american owned tech in China a country with a high population. A US based tech like Google is still the dominant force when it comes to search engines platforms.

YouTube might be banned in Russia, it won't stop it from being the dominant video sharing platform in the world.
