Not knocking her .. but Funke is at the level where she should be in pursuit of originality. She's got the audience that loves her.

The fact remains Funke Akindele does too much to sell her movies. I call it exaggerated marketing and overhyped exccesive PR
I'm sure the marketing budget is even higher than cost of production and what Toyin Abraham said is what many producers and directors are saying quietly.

Claims of selling N250m is flukem
After spending hundreds of millions doing marketing, this is nothing special. If all movie producers have the same budget as U do for over marketing and over hyping their movies, everyone will hit the same mark.
So dont act like its a special feat. No.
Its a feat achieved by huge over hyping and exaggerated marketing.

Give Femi Adebayo, Odunlade, or even upcoming film producers same budget, they will probably do better than this figure.

She's hardworking anyway. Kudos
