Tiktok app has the hidden ability to monitor your keyboard clicks. For instance, if you enter your banking app or another website via tiktok, there is a 90% chance that they already know your password. You don't have to believe me, it's a choice. Take it or leave it.
The personal data of people, especially important people can give out sensitive info about the whole security architecture of a whole country. Your data, i.e, what you do online tells a whole damn lot about you. Social media like tiktok and co can know the next move of a military commander based on his interests. These interests he or she unknowingly reveals through their activities on such social platforms.
Such platforms can know what you intend to do.

How? Such an individual will most likely use the internet to search for info that relate to her condition or what is happening to her at that present moment. That info has already been passed over by a social media platform that cooperates with the armed forces, most of them actually do. They simply wait for him to make the move they are expecting and voila!!!!
How exactly did they know he was going to be in that particular location when they liquidated him since security forces already make arrangements to safeguard on tracking

Baidu has shown very little interest in competing on a global scale. You don’t even need to be told that, it is common sense. Just look at Baidu’s homepage and you will see that it is written in Chinese and not English. That should tell you something.

China has 1.4 billion people. That is a large enough market for anything. Even having 10% of that market is more than enough. But Baidu has almost 700 monthly users. That is half of China’s population.

I was having similar discuss with someone some years back, he was talking about Chinese car not taking all over the world, I told him China has population if you can get only 10% of the market you won't even bother fighting for the global market. There are alot of phone companies China we don't know of but are doing pretty well in China.

1. Anyone can access Baidu. The only times you cannot access it is if it was blocked by your country or if Baidu blocked your country. But whether you can use Baidu to search the web the same way you use Google is another thing. Baidu is made for a Chinese audience, so it only accepts search terms written in Chinese. And it also returns results in Chinese. If it were made for an international audience, it will accept English search terms and will return results in English.





2. Being listed on NASDAQ has nothing to do with whether it’s an international search engine. Baidu is only on NASDAQ for financing (aka money). It has nothing to do with its availability for Americans.



3. There is no Baidu English anywhere. Baidu did not create any version for English. If there is, please share the link here. I would love to see it. If you are talking about BaiduinEnglish dot com, the site is not owned by Baidu. They wrote it clearly on the site. It is owned by a translation company and they use Google translate to translate your English words to Chinese and the Chinese results page back to English.



4. There is no Baidu Japan. There used to be, but it closed down years ago. Baidu Japan was made specifically for the Japanese market. That one understood Japanese search terms and returned Japanese websites. But it was exclusive to Japan and not to the whole world.



5. Baidu only has one interface and that is the one at baidu dot com. You cannot even change the language to another language. It is Chinese all through.



6. Chinese people don’t need to translate English to Chinese to use Google. Google is an international search engine, so it understands Chinese words. You have to translate with Baidu because it is not an international search engine and does not understand non-Chinese words.

Lol it doesn't work like that, first of most security guys keep off giving vital info on social media plus there are more secure apps with high encryption online for communication also most of the data collected has to do with behavioral lifestyle which can be use for social engineering, sales and marketing, political and alot more.

Governments can easily obtain data using the law or via the back door and when such is not forth then you recieve the big stick. Sometimes it is more of economic war than national security.
