Religion As A Tool For Scam by Ibkay32(op): 7:36pm On Dec 23, 2024
I have be thinking of it's only me that see Religion as a tool of scam, in its purest form, is meant to guide humanity toward love, unity, and service to one another. Unfortunately, it has often been manipulated to serve selfish interests, turning it into a tool for exploitation. The modern-day church, as an example, highlights this disparity.

Churches are meant to be sanctuaries for the broken, places where the less privileged can find solace and support. However, in many cases, they have become platforms for the rich and powerful to flaunt their wealth rather than extend a helping hand to the needy, where highly connected people should help the unemployed. The unemployed and struggling members of the congregation are often left unnoticed, while the affluent bask in recognition.

Instead of addressing the struggles of the poor, many congregations prioritize extravagant gifts to pastors and prophets, reinforcing a system where the wealthy are celebrated while the less fortunate are ignored. The essence of charity—helping the poor, feeding the hungry, and supporting the downtrodden—has taken a backseat to lavish displays of wealth and personal gain.

This disconnection between the message of religion and its practice raises questions about its true purpose in modern society. If a church cannot uplift the poor or bridge the gap between the rich and the struggling, then its foundation loses credibility. Religion, in such instances, ceases to be a unifying force and becomes a scam—a façade to maintain systems of inequality rather than challenge them.

True spirituality lies in selflessness, in lifting others and creating a community where no one is left behind. Anything less is a betrayal of the values that religion claims to uphold.

When the Bible said "a fool says in his heart 'there is no God'", it conveniently left out a word at the beginning.

It should say:

"Even a fool says in his heart 'there is no God.'"

If you spend MORE than 5 minutes thinking about the whole CONCEPT of God as perpetuated by religions, you'd QUICKLY find out that it BREAKS down into shambles.

For instance, how do you reconcile the idea that a God is the EMBODIMENT of undiluted love YET he fashioned the MOST painful and horrendous punishment a mind can conjure to PUNISH dissidents.

This loving God will THRUST eternal life upon sinners just for the satisfaction of watching them ROAST for life.

It gets worse when you consider the fact that he supposedly regards ALL humans as his children. Yet he's ready to watch them burn for eternity just because they told a LIE.

Religion is nothing but a BUSINESS!

That's why there are CHURCH DYNASTIES that are passed from father to son. Just like any other business.

Don't you think it's awfully convenient how the God that called a GO to serve also called his son to take over the ministry?

grin

As a Christian brother, I speak from my own experiences and what I know and have observed. I believe in respecting all individuals, regardless of their religion or background, while staying true to my faith. My intention is never to disregard or undermine other beliefs but to share my perspective with humility and understanding.

Religion is never the reason why we are underdeveloped.
The USA didn't start becoming great when they started drifting away from some Christian values.
They were already great even as a nation of Revivalists, Missionaries and Christianity.

Why is UAE prosperous even as a Muslim nation and Nothern Nigeria is poor even though they are predominantly Muslims?
The Chinese are neither Christians or Muslims but they have a religion which is Buddhism and Taosm and yet they are prosperous.

The Jews practice Judaism. That's religion and yet they are prosperous.
Tell me, is it the religion or the people?

Will the Black man stop being Selfish, Greedy, ritualistic, lazy, disorderly, corrupt and evil when we aboilish Christianity or destroy all the Churches?

Did Christianity make Europe underdeveloped?

Religion was created by man to control fellow men. Period.

Religion is one of the biggest reason why Nigeria is underdeveloped. I know people who did not further education because they were waiting for the rapture. You do not understand how religion messes up the head of the average black man who is incapable of reasoning.

And there are people who still furthered their education even as they were waiting for the rapture bro.

There will always be those ones who are simple minded.
