4. Who stone ( He's currently in charge of war against Street trading and illegal parking, he has been unofficially licenced to make money.

Obaseki to me is the best Governor so far I've witnessed in my almost 10 years in Edo State

you're technically right. He automated everything, just that he has an unforgiving spirit and he constructs poor roads and never amend the existing ones.. He fights anyone trying to assist him or anyone who corrects him but PDP won the last election howbeit.

I told a couple of folks, no governor will see the Template created by Obaseki to generate money from the state and cancel it for any tout.

Even a mad man will continue the existing Template. You seat in government house and see your money entering the system..

Than to reverse it and give it back to Kabaka..

Government needs money to work and the existing template works like a charm.

Obaseki was a terrible politician (according to tigers and lions ) but he definitely was a good administrator.

Honestly the Obaseki model of tax collection was the best and it will have been a great disservice if governor Okpeboho reverse it. It reduces toutism in Edo. But is not a good administrator in terms of practical development. He got few things right and failed in many aspects. All the promises he made to Edolite during campaigns for re election was not done. Flood will have been a thing of the past in Edo now but he abandoned the great work of Oshiomole through the Benin water storm project, that some areas were already tackled by oshiomole administration. Areas like teachers house that landlords and landladys became tenant but came back to their houses after that massive flood control. Ugbowo road was so terrible even when it is a federal road but oshiomole addressed that too but unfortunately the canals developed were covered by sand and grasses through out Obaseki tenure. Governor Okpeboho has promised to go back and look at the design and restored it back. Obaseki major re election campaign was to build a flyover in ramat area to end the terrible holdup but never bothered.if governor Okpeboho delivered this two critical and important project, he will be loved by Edolite and expecially the Benin's who their son failed to allieviate the sufferings associated with the current menance. When it rain, you will dislike Benin city and the GRA is even worse hit.

Obaseki, I will give him a C in overall performance, I don’t want to believe he was cursed in terms of road development.

All his road were completely nonsense, took us back to open drainage system. Worse still, was a government carrying out palliative on failed protons of roads only to get bad in 2 weeks, and it happened consistently all through his 8-years.

I know failed portions of road he fixed more than 10 times that got bad at the same exact spot after fixing.

He good governor continue his predecessor program that is good and he has been doing it and canceled those bad ones. He will end up as a better governor than Obaseki surely. Don't because of hatred and say what you don't know. I hope you are not from the bitter people region, cause they don't see what others are doing, expecially if they are of APC. Their saint party elected members has moved out in droves. Our governor has started well and he will end well too.

He removed the non career permanent secretaries and appointed new ones who rose through the system. He restored back the initial Benin royal meseum that Obaseki promised before he went to bring his criminal gangs to develop the west African museum that he said it's private business but this government discovered that he gave out 1.8b to them and even have to destroy part of central hospital which is Edo government property and donate the land to them free. They are many more, so that guy want gov Okpeboho to continue all those abi.

He rehabilitated all general hospitals and build that Edo specialist in ringroad area. Well it's true i came to Edo State when oshiomole was at his final days at office and My Benin Friend's over here, praises oshomole, but they always recommend a person like obaseki, the Man is intelligent

You know your party members are touts and thugs. You can never stop them because you have used them and you have empowered them with revenue collection, you don't have the political will to do what you have said, only Obaseki did it successfully. M.C Oluomo was in government house and the next day your touts were everywhere disturbing the people, traders, drivers.

Name 5 projects of Oshiomole in Edo apart from the so called 5 star hospital that he never equipped. You will only mention Airport road. No signature projects, no industries and companies that can employ people, no human capacity development but Obaseki did all that including Health clinics, Health Insurance scheme, Emergency response, Roads, Schools and others.

Under his tenure, infrastructures in Edo state, most especially Benin city became an eyesore.
Most schools in the state were not rebuilt and other too numerous to mention.
For me, he is the worst after former governor Lucky Igbinedion.

Obaseki was a man ahead of his time. I love the way he shut out touts and jobless political layabouts. He forced them to do other things with their time aside from going to government house to wait for free food and drink. He remains my Man for refusing to be pushed around by the godfathers, the federal government and even traditional institutions.

Any governor who can't take a stand isn't fit to lead
