Great.

But Lagos needs more trees and greenery.

Let's start with a million more trees.

Trees civilises an environment.

Most of the trees planted under Fashola didn't make it. A lot of work needs to be done if the government will embark on tree planting again, so the success rate will be high this time around

Kindly show Lagos Island, Ebute-Meta, Ijora. Lagos is trying, but not at the pace of money generated. 70% of these developments are private initiatives. grin grin grin grin cry cry

Where ever you see a good job, please appreciate it. It's not easy for Lagos state to have come this far. The kind of successive leadership they have is something to be proud of. Other eastern states are also trying a lot and by God's grace, we will all get there.

The trees and horticultural works Fashola did are still majority of what is available till this day.

Many of the trees made it contrary to what you said.

In Igbo movies, the children in the village are always happy when their brother visit the whole family in the village from Lagos.

When the brother is about to return to Lagos, one of the children in the family will tell the brother that I want to follow you to Lagos, she/he will say "brother I hear say they have big big houses in Lagos, plenty rivers, ocean, big big cars, beautiful roads" unfortunately none of the children will want to go to onitsha, Aba, Owerri, Enugu but Lagos.

The prayers of an average Igbo man by his parents is not answer by God in the southeast unless they reach Lagos. But today they don't appreciate the city that made them.

There is a commendable sense of security in lagos as such you should expect some level of infrastructural development. However I must say that Lagos is laid back in terms of waste management. Most of the streets and major roads are littered with trash. The Internal streets apart from areas in Ikoyi are a mess and undeveloped even with all the autonomy they claimed to have given to the LGs. Touts controlling highways, major roads and bus stops. It's actually a shame.

Not surprised
Africans are used to mediocrity
Mega city with no sewer
No good drainage
No public water supply
No waste management

Non functional transport system
