Find out what Taqiyya means. Secondly, know that Islam takes no prisoners. Islam does does not allow the existence of competing belief systems. Once Sharia is in place it works against the freedom of religious freedom until it completely buries the concept.

Answer: Nigeria is a Secular Country, our COnstitution is Secular, meaning it is not based on NAY RELIGION and will remain so. Trying to introduce "Sharia Law/Courts" in Southern Nigeria, is a threat to Nigeria's Secular Constitution. Moreso, South Westerners are not fanatic about Religion, hence the Peaceful Co-existence among families of diverse Religions and what is being atempted is a threat to such Peace.

Answer: Going by what has been happening in the North, despite the "fake promise" that Sharia does not concern Non-Muslims, Sharia Courts in the North has been used to intimidate, harass, injure and kill Non-Muslims.
It was Taqiyya (The Islamic art of "Willful Deception" to appear innoceent, not dangerous, so as to "disarm" your Victim and then strike them down when they least expect it) to the fullest.
We wont allow such Taqiyya in Southern Nigeria or the South West.

Answer: The above is a False Narrative, as l have explained earlier.
As Muslims, we cherish our Peaceful Relationship with People of other Religions and the current Secular Laws and Arbitration Courts are more than enough, to settle any dispute between Christians and Muslims in Southern Nigeria. Anything beyond that, especially the introduction of Sharia Laws, is a threat to that Peace that we so much value. Just because we are adherents of Islam, does not mean we are extremists or fanatics, as we have in Northern Nigeria.

Finally, there is Wisdom in that statement: if it is not broken, dont fix it!
