I find it laughable for the underhand tactics Muslim admins on Nairaland will do in the name of Jihad for Mohammed and his Allah.

I created an Original Post in the Religion Section of Nairaland a few days ago asking the Question

Now, they require that I should recite the Shahada and claim to be a Muslim before I can make comments on my own Original Post.


Why are many Muslims so shameless?

You aren't new here na. This has been on since the Muslims got their own section after threatening Seun. I dunno why people will bring their religion to the public space and expect no push back. Seun claims to be an atheist but tbh what he did is wrong, dead wrong. He's not being fair to everyone. I was accosted with the same pledge too when I wanted to comment on that thread. I just left it for them. I'm an atheist and don't plan to change any time soon

He is obviously truely afraid of the Muslims. They most likely did not threaten him but I guess he can't help it.

However, it was him being a former staunch Christian who deviced the rule of reciting the Shahada for people who would comment on Islamic thread BECAUSE he is well aware that most serious Christian would not jokingly recite the Shahada. Exactly like Balam who showed Balak the way to destroy Israel

Balam who knew exactly what will turn the God of Israel against them advised Balak on how to entice the Israelites into sin through sexual immorality and idol worship with Moabite women. Balam was a prophet of God who went for the highest bidder and he knows

It's not a problem for me if Muslims have to swear to comment on Islamic threads but I think it is fair to extend the same to Atheists, Traditionalists, Jehovah's witnesses, Brotherhood of the cross and Star, Grail Message, Eckankar etc their own private space too.

It becomes bad when the Admin moves a Muslim thread to the first page but require people to recite the Shahada to comment.

It is worse when a Christian thread is moved to the Islamic section with the aim of muzzling the thread.
