In case you are slow in understanding, let me make it simple for you. When you go rob, don't go rob with weapon. If you do, you are likely to get death sentence.

I think he gave a garnishment of about quarter of a bn against the bank, which the bank wasn't comfortable with how he came about the ruling, he was reported to NJC, then he went to the bank's counsel office in Lagos to start begging by prostrating in his office, they added that to his case, and NJC eventually showed him the door

You should go and review his trial and let's see if weapon wasn't involved in front of the trial judge. Whether it was planted by the police or he actually had one is another point of argument.
