There are many Nigerians doing well really. But the numbers are just so infinitesimal when compared to the middle class, lower class, the power and the extremely poor ones.
I strongly agree that over 90% of Nigerians will never have 160M in their lifetime.

Abeg, Izzou, I need your help here because I know you’re in the transport industry. Could you please let us know the estimated weekly or monthly earnings after these people (keke riders or bolt/uber drivers) make after their weekly returns? I’m not talking about the defaulters, ooooo….
For Keke riders, the delivery is dependent on the route, and the repayment package (Rental or HP)

I really can't say, but I believe it will be difficult for a Keke guy to hit 100k in a week (Gross)

But for Uber, absolutely Yes. If the driver knows his onions, he can make 100k or more weekly.

Another factor to note is these profits are seasonal. Some days, you go manage carry 5k go house. Some, you go cash out.

More than 70% of Nigerians don't even have 500,000 in their bank account according to reports.

Another reports says more than 70% of lagosians earn less than 100,000.

I think a large number of working population earns below 200,000. Where them want see 180million?

RE: Ibadan Stampede incident

Nobody is even talking about this man; the principal of the school where the Stampede incident happened. The man was arrested alongside Hamzat Oriyomi and the ex-queen Naomi.

All we've been hearing in th news is the name of the aforementioned duo while nobody seem to speak for the principal.

This life ehn......

That means more than 70% of Lagosians are effectively living in poverty, because you’d really need more than 100k/month to live comfortably in Lagos.

160M is even too much. I'm not sure a lot people will see 100M

😂

Make dem dey play.

Nigeria we be say as at 2021 the salary of a full professor per month after deduction is ₦416,743.00 and there are about 11,000 professors in Nigeria.

https://dailytrust.com/no-nigerian-professor-earns-above-n416000-monthly-ASUU/

Now ask them where a professor will see ₦160m in his lifetime if he starts earning over ₦400k in his late 50's / early 60's?
I just love where you have taken this argument to. 5 years from now when inflation must have turned that 160M to 40M, I will come back and ask you if this argument will still hold.

Reason is, you wouldn't dare ask a professor this question 5 years ago when 40M or less was 160M's equivalent.

You seem not to be getting it. They said 10% of Nigerians won't worth 160M in their lifetime.
Worth means after calculating earnings, expenditure and assest owned.
I hope they can stand by same figure 20 years from now.

I really overestimated some people here.
