⚡Hackers targeted around ten official websites in Italy on Saturday, including the websites of the Foreign Ministry and Milan’s two airports, putting them out of action temporarily, the country’s cybersecurity agency said.

The pro-Russian hacker group Noname057 (16) claimed the cyberattack on Telegram, saying Italy’s “Russophobes get a well-deserved cyber response.”

A spokesperson for Italy’s cybersecurity agency said it was plausible that the so-called “Distributed Denial of Service” (DDoS) attack could be linked to the pro-Russian group.

⚡A KLM Boeing 737 made an emergency landing and skidded off the runway in Oslo, Norway due to a malfunction in its hydraulic system.

Pilots noticed the issue soon after takeoff at around 4,900ft, and quickly diverted to a nearby airfield.

It’s not yet known what caused the hydraulic issue, and as of now, no major injuries have been reported.

⚡Yonhap, citing local fire department officials, reports that during the crash at Muan Airport, many passengers were ejected from the fuselage due to the violent impact. Tragically, most of them are now confirmed dead.

The Jeju Air Boeing 737-800NG, carrying 180 passengers and six crew members, suffered a catastrophic belly landing at 200 km/h after a bird strike damaged its landing gear. Only two survivors, seated in the tail section, have been found alive. Rescue operations remain ongoing.
if it was happened in Russia neighborhood, another Ukrainian source will come out with the wrong claim

How many percentage of Lebanon did Israel take?
Gbadebo19:
Wake me up when they take up 20.1% of Ukraine.
Despite every nook and cranny you mentioned, it's still 20% for 3 years. And that's even thanks to the separatists, Wagner and more.... So much achievement for the best army in the world.

⚡North Korean leader Kim Jong Un vowed to implement the “toughest” anti-U.S. policy, state media reported Sunday, less than a month before Donald Trump takes office as U.S. president.

Trump’s return to the White House raises prospects for high-profile diplomacy with North Korea. During his first term, Trump met Kim three times for talks on the North’s nuclear program. Many experts however say a quick resumption of Kim-Trump summitry is unlikely as Trump would first focus on conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East. North Korea’s support for Russia’s war against Ukraine also poses a challenge to efforts to revive diplomacy, experts say.

During a five-day plenary meeting of the ruling Workers’ Party that ended Friday, Kim called the U.S. “the most reactionary state that regards anti-communism as its invariable state policy.” Kim said that the U.S.-South Korea-Japan security partnership is expanding into “a nuclear military bloc for aggression.”

“This reality clearly shows to which direction we should advance and what we should do and how,” Kim said, according to the official Korean Central News Agency.

But why are airplanes this fragile for Bleep sake? Bird strikes here and there costing precious lives, it's annoying. Are there no further modifications that could be made to ensure safety?

Certainly interesting that the folks who were so insistent on raking Russia over the coals about an air accident with two dozen survivors after almost three years of war are somehow mute about the US Boeing kill count nearing a thousand since the start of the 737 accidents.

Whistleblowers are assassinated. No comment.
Some genius placed concrete at the end of a runway in Korea. No comment.

But evil Russians accidentally shot at a plane that circled twice over the runway in Grozny, RU, twice in Aktau, KZ, and crossed the Caspian Sea. Proceed to write a book.

PS: About the fragility of planes. Nothing can be done for now. Planes in their current form are metal tubes on wheels.
Lose enough of the mechanisms that make it safe mode of transportation and it's the pearly gates for unfortunate passengers.
Lots of mitigating steps have been taken to reduce the risk of bird strikes across the planet. Some jurisdictions take it more seriously than others. But it's also quite common. Annual damage estimates from bird strikes is over $1B.

The obsession with USA problems will soon make you tear cloth and enter street.
Please how is a technical malfunction in a series of Boeing products synonymous with the shooting down of a passenger airline and still not admitting fault?
There are even infos that have stated that the malfunction of the boeing planes were due to some products supplied by China. Mtcheeew!!!

I'm wondering what kind of reportage is this by this media org.
I think anyone killed in the battle field should be classified as dying in action whether through execution or direct fire exchange(captured or not captured). Which one is bbc singing "executing prisoners of war" again? In battle field? The questions is.. were these soldiers executed after taken into prisons/custody? Is there any documented evidence obtained by bbc to ascertain this guys were in prisons pre their executions? Or is the battle field now the new symbol of prison facility for bbc? Could this be a well crafted propaganda campaign or misunderstanding of journalism by bbc? I don't understand.. you people should pls come and explain prisoner of war give me pls.

#To me for a soldier to be qualified to be called a prisoner of war, he must first of all be taken into prison/custody and adequately processed into account by the authorities before earning that tittle/tag
Ahhhhhh!!!!! Obedience, come and see the person with a lame brain we have been arguing with. My God!!! And money was spent on educating this one?
Jesus!!!!!! Ahhhhhh!!!! Nigeria is in trouble!!!!!
See the definition of "prisoner of war" from an acclaimed educated person!!!!!!

Sit down, take out your notebook and write...

A prisoner of war is a person partaking in the war who surrendered and was arrested. Normally, if a person surrenders, the laws of war is that such a person should not be killed but rather taken in as a prisoner. That is where the term "prisoner of war" comes from

Executing such a person is a criminal act and that's how BBC arrived at "executing prisoners of war. They don't necessarily have to be taken into custody. The surrender makes them a prisoner of war
See the person that I have been arguing with on global politics and war matter.
Remember I once said here that since the first day you opened your mouth to address me on this thread, I knew you were an empty brain. Same goes for at least 65% of people here.

⚡Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev said on Sunday the Azerbaijani Airlines passenger which crashed this week, killing 38 of the 67 people onboard, was shot at from Russia.

“The facts are that the Azerbaijani civilian plane was damaged from the outside over Russian territory, near the city of Grozny, and almost lost control. We also know that electronic warfare systems put our plane out of control,” Aliyev told state media. “At the same time, as a result of fire from the ground, the tail of the plane was also severely damaged.”

⚡Trump may force Kiev to conclude a peace agreement with Russia without security guarantees for Ukraine as early as 2025.

The Financial Times presented five possible scenarios for resolving the conflict. According to one of them, Russia, China and the United States may conclude a "grand" deal, within the framework of which the States will tacitly leave spheres of influence in their regions to these countries.

This positioning follows recent U.S. and Israeli airstrikes on Yemen, as well as heightened tensions involving the Houthis, who have demonstrated their long-range missile capabilities in recent months.
