My Toyota Corolla car fuel gauge was like these when we reached Ibadan from Abuja.

But we refilled as a precaution but when we get to lagos the driver said the full tank would have been a enough to take us to lagos even if we didn't refill in Ibadan.


Lagos to Abuja was 748 kilometers, more than 11hrs.

But I do remember when Peugeot 406 came out they claimed one full tank took them from Lagos to Kaduna but I have not seen nor heard anyone visually confirm that.

Then I know those port crook drivers fuel any where from Ife upwards after all their speeding from Lagos where I know they still fueled at Conoil or so before the start flying.

So, I find it difficult to believe

I’ve done the drive from Abuja to Lagos a few times, and a full tank usually gets me there without any issues. My car is fairly fuel-efficient, and I’ve never had to stop for fuel along the way. It's about 760 km, so depending on your vehicle, you should be good to go as long as you’ve got a full tank at the start. Just make sure to keep an eye on the fuel gauge, especially as you get closer to Lagos!

even my Camry 09 saves fuel a lot, I don’t think a Corolla will do better, I’m even surprised. Just get a car with good engine and you’ll be fine

not same. But 2005 seems to have more fuel economy. likewise Honda civic 2007
