Good afternoon,
Compliments of the season.

I’m a real estate professional based in Lagos, and I often visit remote areas for property inspections. I’m currently considering getting either a 2010 Toyota RAV4 or a 2008 Toyota Highlander. My concern with the RAV4 is that I’ve read online about potential mileage issues, while for the Highlander, I’m a bit hesitant due to its larger size.

I would really appreciate your suggestions.

HIGHLANDER bro,soo many people I hv adviced for Highlander and till today they didn’t regret it

Plus the parts are available and technical manpower are available too. If you have the cash upgrade to the Facelift model from say 2012.

Both are nice reliable vehicles, if you would be getting the 4 plugs rav4, it’ll be cheaper on gas compared to the highlander which would most likely be a v6, other wise the highlander is pretty much reliable, it also has a higher ground clearance compared to the rav4 too. If you would be getting the rav4,make sure you get the one with the 2AR-Fe engine preferable to the 2az

my budget is 10m which i don't think can afford 2012.

Get the 2010/11 model for the rav4

It's not for city driving, but rugged terrain
