This is my special way of saying thank you to all nairalanders ...especially those in auto section that have put food on my table ..You guys are the real.mvp. I never knew that you guys read everything we post here ...I was shocked how you guys know us more than we can think of .

The nairalander I helped to buy a car yesterday said all good things about gazzuz ...he was moved to tears during our uber drive to the location of the car . The moral lesson is that in whatever you do ..remember people are watching you and at the right time they will reward your effort ..Just this morning he called to thank me for doing a great job...Things like this motivate some of us to do better.

May the good lord continue to bless all of you putting food on our table . We should learn to forgive one another ...we are like family here . We can fight but let it not be too personal . The shocking aspect is that most of you that fight me online have one way or the other put food on my table ...Most times I don't ask people there moniker before relating with them in person . The moment they say my name is so so and so from.nairaland and I got your contact from.nairaland ...I accept them as family immediately and I do my best to help with whatever car they are looking for.

What the seller of the car told me yesterday made me believe that real people don't support tribalism..According to him he resigned from a bank and started doing uber ...one day he mate this yoruba man that transformed his life ...they became business partner...Till date the word tribalism which our leaders are dividing us with doesn't exist in there dictionary . That is the Nigeria I want ....When one dies God doesn't ask about ethnicity ...you either go to hell or heaven

Go to any black community and claim racism never exist and see if you'll come out of there with your complete body

Tribalism is why Tinubu appointed yorubas as CBN governor, minister of finance, inspector general of police, minister of interior, chief of army staff, etc. He needs people he can speak freely with in his local dialect.

Tribalism is not a bad thing if your society is homogeneous because tribalism in its most basic form is nationalism. Tribalism becomes bad when you practice it in a heterogeneous society like Nigeria with many tribes, many ethnicities, many nationalities...

Practicing tribalism is dangerous in a heterogeneous society like Nigeria because you sacrifice competence, equity and fairness for parochial basic human instinct such as need to speak a common language. Tribalism easily leads to nepotism. You start rewarding people not because of their effort but because they can speak your language even if they're not competent and qualified. That's taking humanity to a state of nature.

Tribalism is very present in Nigeria, irrespective of what the politicians are doing with it.

Before you make your unfounded claims about absence of tribalism in Nigeria, go and work in a setting dominated by one particular tribe different from yours in Nigeria.
