Alleged Tinubu’s NNPCL nepotism;Shehu Sani replies Elrufai

Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has blasted the immediate past Governor of Kaduna State, Mal.Nasir Elrufai over recent comments made via his social media handle on alleged issues of Nepotism at NNPCL against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Farooq Kperogi, a US-based Nigerian professor of journalism had accused Tinubu of governing Nigeria with a Lagos mindset.

According to the scholar, Tinubu chose to dominate the economy with people from the South-West the way former President Muhammadu Buhari loaded the security sector with northerners during his administration

Elrufai later shared Kperogi's post on his X handle and said, "Two wrongs don’t make a right", adding that sensible inclusion trumps senseless exclusion.

However in a swift reaction to Elrufai 's shared post, Comrade Shehu Sani via his X handle replied, " "There were people who were silent when Buhari was fielding political offices with his Kinsmen, and have now found their voice to speak out when the equation doesn't favour them.

The former lawmaker, who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District in 8th Senate overtly referred to Elrufai adding "Lets not make reference to the nepotism that marginalised Southern Kaduna for eight years.Kaduna was an apartheid state for eight years."

According to Shehu Sani, anyone can talk or criticize President Tinubu on issues of alleged lopsided appointments or Nepotism, but certainly not Elrufai.

Tinubu is a genius in Politics. I only wish that IQ applied to Economics too.

He will NEVER respond to anyone crying. He will simply keep mute and then in 2027....

Multiple refineries working ( NEVER happened before) + X & Y achievements + planted moles in enemy camp +/- rigging grin = landslide victory.

All while mute 🔇 grin

He's like a Coach who doesn't leave the bench, shows zero emotion but he beats you 10-0 home and away.

Even in the scheme of things … Shehu Sani, Dogara … can’t influence nothing .

You see why Tinubu and his Yoruba government will keep ignoring their anti north stupidity..

While sending emissaries to plead with same El Rufai and the large North..

Same with Reno.. the one that Yoruba people worship now..

Every politician knows the value and worth of politics and will rather go for personalities .

El Rufai has kept shehu permanently out. Of kaduna politics.. used him and discard him.. so he can make noise all he wants .. while Tinubu keep yorubanizing his government without giving a Fvck about the fool

But same El Rufai was among the very few who challenged Buhari's monetary policies and even dragged FG to court. Sani is only being sens..less and playing to the gallery.

He already said "Two wrongs don't make a right" in his post. If there is one key person that ensured Tinubu got the ticket and didn't allow the plans of Buhari and the northern cabals to retain power in the North. It was El Rufai. He insisted power must go to South and stood solidly behind Tinubu. So criticising BAT or calling him out to correct his wrongs is a worthy thing and deserves 👏 🙌 commendation

Farouk Kperogi was one of the paid agents to launder Tinubu's image. He specifically wrote an article to demonize Osinbajo accusing him of being a bad person by performing well when Buhari was away therby making Buhari look bad.

Meanwhile Tinubu is like the devil. Expect everything evil from him.

The issue of nepotism or Federal character has been over flogged. The President is constitutionally mandated to spread ministerial appointments around the federating units. However his/her mandate allows them to choose ministerial functions.

At this stage in NG history based on what we have been through as a nation, the emphasis should be on appointee effectiveness and results.

This government took over a bastardized economy in which the future was being used to fund the present and everybody was happy with low fuel prices and low ( if inaccessible) fx rates. We were living like slaves while a tiny minority became stinking rich.

What we should be doing is holding the government's feet to the fire and demanding results.

I am quite surprised by El Rufai. I assume he had a moment.

I don't know if these people are literate enough to know that Tinubu takes responsibility for anything that happens to the growth or otherwise of Nigeria.

If I were either Hausa or Igbo,I will still put Yoruba in very strategic positions at this very trying time of Nigeria because,I am sorry to say this but Yorubas have proven to be the best administrators with time.

Are these people saying that Tinubu should put Hausa/Fulani or some other tribe in those very sensitive positions and shun his own people just because he is the president and of Yoruba stock?

Some might call it nepotism but have they asked who were occupying those positions before?.Mostly Hausa/Fulani,of course.

Are you saying that Tinubu should leave them there or still change them with more Hausa/Fulani people?

If Tinubu fails, you will surely say Yorubas have disappointed Nigerians.

We still have twofold the number of Hausa/Fulani people in govt more than any tribe even in NNPC.
I think Tinubu should change them more.
Put Igbos too in one or two strategic areas.
Those he can trust,of course.

You are comparing apples to oranges. Comparing headship of agencies to policies are two different things.
When all security heads were of northern extraction under the last government, why did he not call it out?
