All the contributions are reasonable. We are not talking about direct war between Niger and Nigeria. I'm sure they won't dare. What should be of concern is them exporting terrorists to our dear nation and further destabilizing us. All of us should rise up to this challenge. We shouldn't see it as a problem of the North just like we did when insurgency started few years ago. |

Indirectly the North romance terrorism maybe because of it Islamic influence 🤷, attempt to improve the northern border security will be see as denying them free movement to their cousins (Niger republic). |

This is the same country that the past administration was hell bent in constructing a railway line deep into their territory with Nigerians hard earned money, whereas all the state capitals in nigeria that is supposed to be linked by rail is having nothing of such. |

Everyone knows after loosing Niger, the next move of the French was to sponsor terrorism against them. Who best to help him achieve it if not his boy Tinubu. Tinubu already tried economic blockade which didn't work. That is why it is dangerous to have a known criminal as a president. They helped him hide his certificate case, his drug case now he has to be their friend. |

It will be a grievous blunder to sacrifice your internal security stability for foreing aid. Knowing Tinubu(the only leader daft enough to threaten Niger with military invasion) as someone who dord not think before acting, there is no questioning the option he will take. He needs the foreign acceptance much more than anything, being a known criminal globally. |

With modern technology securing our border could have being a piece of cake...in the past our forefather uses land mark such as rivers, trees and moat for boundary marking which was ideal in those days, but our modern men marks our border through map and survey no physical marker on ground, my suggestion why not make economic tree crop plantation around the borders in nigeria or state, invite investor(presco and okomu) to farm on this border , put cctv on the border, with Army, immigration and other forces regular patrol on it, the investors will make profit, nigeria government will also earn revenue from the farm |

This is the first time I am hearing from another person airing my view that fence should be built round our borders. Just like Trumps wants to build fence around USA. The military civil engineers and NYSC corpers can do this job effectively. It should be wide enough for armored vehicles to drive ontop. This will reduce terrorism by 80%. |
