If it's at Ibadan like you said. Advise him to be up and doing by approaching all local government in Oyo State. Let him submit his CV and also let him indicate that he can render a voluntary support services to their agriculture department until they can get convinced and give him an official employment. Let him market himself as somebody that has input to contribute to the growth of the department and also indicate he can do it FOC, Voluntary to support and make a positive change. I am telling that, if your cousin really went to school of agricultural extension, read and passed out himself and still remember all the needed agricultural techniques learnt while in school, he would definitely get a call for an employment.....let him try it with Local governments in Oyo and also IITA ( International Institute Of Tropical Agriculture) along Ibadan Old Ife road or so....let him also approach those private agricultural companies along the same Ibadan Old Ife road, there's an agricultural company along the new airport road , can't remember the name but let him create time and do the leg work to find out....he should be enthusiastic about getting a job, shouldn't be complaining that the trouble is too much.... nothing good comes easy....he should do the leg work and tell him that anywhere he goes and deduce that it's a good company but they claim they don't need a worker right now....tell him to quickly volunteer to work free of charge even if it's 3 times in a week or so.....he should not be picky if eventually they agree to the voluntary work.....if they are loading harvest manually, he should join them, whatever they are doing , he should contribute and be more outstanding in his contribution....Make sure you come back here and give us testimony of the outcome in the shortest time soon.
