The guy claimed there are infractions in the bank and is asking the Police to investigate the CEO. How do you come to the conclusion that raising an alarm on possible corruption is defamation? Isn't raising an alarm on possible corruption not free speech? We should be asking ourselves why didn't the Police pursue the alleged infractions rather than go after the complainant. Is this different than if you complaint to the Police that your rich neighbour is a gun runner ... vans be dropping off and picking up guns late at nights ...but instead of investigating...you become wanted for defamation.? What's th difference? This is how we give the Police the power to trample on our rights ...in this case the right to report corruption. Then we wonder why there is so much corruption.

Would a bank publicly accuse someone of a crime like defamation and cyberbullying if it didn't occur? It's unlikely they'd bother with such petty issues. Furthermore, isn't it the responsibility of financial regulatory bodies, rather than the police, to handle banking infractions in Nigeria? Come on, I think you're smarter than you're portraying.
