Honestly for those of us who still believe in Nigeria and do business in Nigeria

We just need the currency to be stable , just let it stay in one place and we can start all over again and pick up from where we left

It’s hard purchasing power has been eroded but we have no option but to continue to make investments in motherland

In 1922, the world experienced the Great Depression , in 1949 Germany inflation was so bad notes were being used for decoration

This explains why I feel sorry for those who sold thier properties these last 4 years for peanuts although I don’t blame them sha .

We just need the naira to be stable if it’s 2,200 naira to 1 pound oooo , at least let it stay there for like 2 years or so

I saw a picture of a 1.5kg bag of Garri being sold for £3.50 in the uk and I laughed

£3.50 is the equivalent of 7,700 naira
1.5kg is the equivalent of 1 Congo of Garri

In Nigeria it is is 900 naira
In the uk it is 7,700 naira

This is the beauty of a devalued currency, exports for those who have time to do it become sweet and cheaper

Nigeria needs to begin to exports things cocoa ,
Whatever that can be produced cheaply in Nigeria can be easily exported abroad

Then you have mr dangote too exporting his oil

This is the only way the naira can stabilise and we start building Nigeria again through investments

No place like home

Obaofaba:
Bring back our náírà, no reason can explain why cefa should be stronger than náírà.

Nigeria is the economic hub of the African continent and by every reasonable standard should have the best currency.
It's CFA and not cefa.....if you can't even get the spelling right how do you want to get your facts right...CFA is backed by the euro with a central reserve tied to France..

2024, The year Nigerian came face to face with reality.

No more free lunch if you must eat then you must work for it.

I so much love it how the lazy mannerless importers were cut to size.

No more my container det for sea by unpatriotic wasters and prodigal citizen

YEAR OF WEALTH FOR HUSTLERS ESPECIALLY FARMERS
What work is Seyi Tinubu doing?
Isn't he chopping

Keep on deceiving your self there while importers keep on taking advantage of the high inflation to amasse wealth

Good job PBAT!

I give so much kudos to this administration!

The policies, reforms, magical onboarding of our moribund refineries (whopping 2 in one year!!!), improved electricity supply, massive infrastructural projects, et al!

If as a citizen, you fail to see and appreciate all these even while you cheer them on to do more, then, you are entitled to your own opinion!.

As for me, I look for more and ask for completion of started projects as we progress.

Peace!

Reserve of $40B - three year high...and it makes no sense to you? Even while Tinubu government is servicing about 67 different loans taken by previous administrations?

You can complain all you like!

To me, we are on the right track!!!
