Europe buys Russian LNG which are carried on ships.

Europe buys pipeline gas which transits through Ukraine to Hungary, Slovakia. Sometimes they buy from Hungary/Slovakia directly. This is the only pipeline still active I think and that's why they claim they have reduced dependency to 10%.

They are begging Azerbaijan to fund a new gas pipeline that can carry Russian gas to them, probably because of the Ukrainian threat.

Europe buys Russian gas through Turkish Steam, India, China and other third parties. This one alone covers all pre 2022 pipeline gas deliveries.

So who's fooling who? Does buying it from third parties at double the price make it any better than buying from Russia directly.

They reduced direct gas import from Russia, only to increase indirect import from other countries. At the end, the money still goes to Russia.

It's forced hatred because none of them can mention exactly what Russia has done to them or their country. But they can all write a 180,000 page book of how US and EU actions have kept Africa and other continents poor and crime ridden.

I've never been a proponent for the situation of foreign military facilities anywhere in African territories. Bilateral relations and cooperations should mostly focus on economic benefits and not the militarization of African sovereign territories by foreign entities.

Even if one is to argue that this might turn out in favour of Sudan and Chad, I make bold to posit that terrorism in those regions is about to see a sharp spike, especially considering its proximity to gold minerals and the fact the West is going to feel slighted and will have absolutely no qualms funding terrorist activities in both countries just to challenge and destabilize Russia's presence and activities in the Sahel.

This is an unwelcome development.

Regardless of Russian involvement there, the west has been sponsoring terrorism there and won't stop anytime soon unless they are met with a military force which can only be provided by Russia or China at the moment.

Honestly I believe Africa is too divided to counter terrorism alone. Because these terrorist have a very strong international and even local support. And most of them work together, if we are being honest we will agree that most time they are much more organized and even have better logistics compared to even National armies(that's why they Excell in guerrilla warfare.).

But my stance on foregin military bases and operations are always same.
- the base should not be permanent.
- the operation should have a well detailed objectives as well as a specific time limit. (War can be complex and nothing is guaranteed but. At least we should have a time limit for foregin military operations in Africa. If by such time objectives are not met, we can then talk about an extension based on the current level of progress)

Africa does not need foreign military bases and installations. We can import foreign expertise to train our military and they'll use our internal facilities for their comfort and operations.

Once their contract expires, they leave. All these double standards no be wetin we need. And I don't play by these rules.

The United States pushed your energy hub into a conflict that will inevitably drive energy prices through the roof. Instead of pursuing diplomatic solutions, you escalated tensions at the behest of your master, escalating hostility to your own detriment. They destroyed your energy route by physically sabotaging Nord Stream 2. After several sanctions imposed on it.

Fast-forward to today, and they seem poised to take control of the very pipeline you built with your partner, forcing you to pay exorbitantly for its use. It's truly astonishing! After Ukraine, Europe especially Germany emerges as the biggest loser in this war.

But I still maintain that we cannot tackle these guys on our own, at least not currently.

Africa has the sole responsibility of staying neutral and independent, while the rest of the world fights dirty. We'll be more stable in the end.

We don't need all these sponsored wars and battles simply because we're looking to appeal to one sect or the other. We can stay largely neutral.

Kuwait is what it is today because they largely avoid unnecessary confrontations and issues. Worldwide, Kuwait has the highest currency, if I'm not mistaken. And it's a really small country, even though it has mild religious inclinations.

Africa does not need all of this!
